As a Marine, I’ll bite my tongue. I can say that I stopped to refuel in Tallehasee in a military helicopter. Coincidentally, Biden happened to be there refueling as well. It was a Sunday afternoon and I was kicked back in an FBO recliner watching football when we were invited to go meet him…. If anything, my chair seemed to recline just a little more.

Interesting. Obviously a direct correlation between money and W/L. Not that it’s all that shocking. But good to see proof. I wonder what other schools have taken the “wide” approach that Clemson has and what the median donation is per year.

How does the 15,000 members, 700 volunteers, $60 mil, and $25.5 mil compare to the other top schools in the ACC and also us haha? I’m just trying to get perspective.

SEC? Yes yes and yes. We should have!! I’m glad to hear someone other than me say it. THAT would changed everything – for the better. Oh well. If it’s too late then we need to play the cards we dealt ourselves. I think a tougher schedule will be good for the players, fans, and recruiting.

Just a lid on the bucket last night. They got the looks, they took good shots, they hustled, they played D. They just didn’t fall. Abu and Freeman need to go to the rim harder. And they need to get the ball in the hands of the most capable player on the break. I really don’t see us shooting that poorly many nights. We’ll bounce back from this. Go Pack!

BullPack, COWDOG, and tjfoose said it perfectly. I don’t understand the complaining about winning on the road against teams we have been losing to in recent history. It reminds me of The Rock (movie) when Nick Cage asks Sean Connery to do something about the dead guy’s leg twitching. Connery comes back, “what do you want me to do, kill him again?” Jeezus, people Wake and BC is that dead body, what more do you want from this team?

Lots of good points on here (with a few exceptions). No need to repeat or take credit for the brilliance of previous posts. I do feel and want to add that the program, as a whole, still feels, to me, like it is headed in the right direction. I wasn’t expecting our national championship banner to go up this year. Like DD said after the game, there’s lots of game tape the watch from this one. As long as we don’t see the same [play calling] mistakes…

His mama calls him Maverick, Imma call him Maverick. I will however wait until at least his first dogfight before I start comparing him to Ice[man] haha. I do love our excitement. Should be another fun year!!

Jacoby is the man. And such a class act! So much to look forward to this season.

On a unrelated note, welcome Maverick Rowan!!! Again, lots to look forward to!

    GO PACK!!!!

I like RW and enjoyed watching him play – still do. But this argument is ridiculous…. Even RW didn’t know if he was coming back to college at all when it was time for the coaching staff to put in an offense. RW was waiting for his batting average to come up. Had he hit better, he never would have come back to college at all. No one kicked him out of Raleigh. The only quasi-argument in this thread is that TOB should have known he would play BB until ultimately choosing to yet again be one of the “best QBs in the country”. If that’s the case then RW should have ALSO known by that time that TOB wouldn’t make exceptions for anyone – including him. RW is certainly way more likable than TOB but that doesn’t mean he is always right. In any event, it worked out for him – if it hadn’t then no reporter would be asking him those questions.

I do hope the ‘Cuse fans start calling loudly for fair punishment of the Smurfs now that the hammer is being dropped on them.

I was at the game and I just want to say how classless the Syracuse fans were (much like their coach of course). They just completely filled that void of asshole fans left by Maryland. It was so wonderful so see them leaving early, so humbled. Hope they run into weather on the way home. And I do love that since they left the house yesterday to come see their cheating program lose in Raleigh, they lost 110 games. Ah Ha. Suck it.

I like it – don’t care who hung it, even though I doubt it was DD. It gives this era of NC State football an identity. It is a good summary #Statement of the current program. It’s an instant classic line. There is no reason to wait several years to embrace it.

Nothing is wrong with it. He can have all the support he wants from their fans. But the starting lineup is the opportunity to fly your flag or throw out a thank yous out to the entity(s) (“whole pack of badgers”) that got you there. If he thinks JuCo is more important than NC State then I as a Panthers fan lose interest in supporting him on the side as someone I had inaccurately perceived as a fellow NC State supporter. If he doesn’t feel a strong enough connection to us then I don’t see a reason to support him – unless, like I said, he ends up kicking for the Panthers.

Yeah sorry, Hauschka just lost me. He wants to claim BFE Community College then he can get support from their fans. If he wants me back then he can kick for the Panthers haha

choosing the teams based on “pedigree” = bias
This was obviously about the $$$.
I expected more from renowned college football experts like Condoleezza Rice.

The biggest mistake the selection committee made was previously dropping FSU (who I hate BTW – since their Duke-level flop fest in Raleigh) for no real reason other than their obvious bias towards the SEC.
