Great summary. I was at the game. Couldn’t agree more with the write-up. I brought my friend, a die-hard Florida Gator with me (he wore red) and he said that was the most fun he’s had at a game in 10 years and he hopes that the SEC comes calling when they inevitably expand.

-JB12 obviously played well — he certainly has all the tools. I’m not even sure I can say anything about his play that wasn’t obvious to us all. He did outplay Shameless Jameis. I know their numbers were similar but the amount of work that Jacoby had to do go get those numbers was substantially more and the protection ws far less. FSU ran the same post pattern to both sides of the field several times. The receivers just out-athleted our secondary. Couldn’t be more happy with our QB.

-FSU’s fake injuries should be an embarrassment to their program. It’s lying and cheating and is as disgusting as Duke basketball.
    -Refs were horrible.
    -It’s Bo time!
-Shad was a beast! He ceased to impress me with the yards he continuously picked up after contact.
-Overall, it’s clear that our program is headed in the right direction on all levels.

“many past NC State teams would have found a way to lower themselves to the competition.”

    Nailed it!

-Louisville gets welcomed to the ACC
-GSU put up 38 on GT
    -Maryland lost – ah ha!
-I don’t want to jinx the Pack it but I thought I saw some LB play and also some D Line play.
-I know I saw some amazing offensive play calling. 8 players caught a pass, 7 players ran the ball
-Lets hope they stay focused in the second half!

Is this really new information? Didn’t we already know what happened when we saw him dragging her out of the elevator? I mean, is there really anyone that didn’t put two and two together BEFORE TODAY? “Perhaps she fainted and they felt the need to get that awkward press conference” :/ I think that everyone’s sudden shock seems a little disingenuous to be honest. Not that I’m condoning it but to all of a sudden pretend to have a stronger opinion than you did before is kinda lame. Where was all this Raven outcry when Ray Lewis got away with murder, covered it up, became the spiritual leader of the team, retired a hero, and got a broadcasting job beside Steve Young. He’s as innocent as OJ yet celebrated by most even with the limo driver’s testimony that he heard Lewis telling all of his boyz to “don’t say nuthin” in exchange for him taking care of them. And he also testified that he made a stop to dump bloody clothes in a dumpster. Anyway, I think that this Rice thing is nothing but an attempt by the NFL AND media to PRETEND that they care — they had all this same info when they punished him before. The Ravens have to be the worst, most hypocritical organization out there. Public perception is the ONLY reason they are doing something different now with NO NEW INFORMATION. Same situation, Rice does it and the general public doesn’t know (but they do), he serves no suspension. If there were only a tape of him dragging her out of the elevator under “mysterious” circumstances, he gets a 2-game suspension and standing ovation at practice (happened). Show on SportsCenter [with no bigger current controversy] what we already knew — released from the team. See, they don’t care about what really happened, they just want to pretend like they care. That’s the problem I have with it.

Very true. ODU only punted once that I recall. Need to get that fixed stat (“stat means now” – Dwight Schrute). Offense is fun to watch; we need a matching D!

By far one of the best threads I’ve read on here in a long time. Several good points being made about obvious and subtle improvements with the team/culture. S&C vs. our last two opponents was obvious; especially if you remember all the cramping that GSU had (assuming SOME of it was genuine). One penalty last Saturday was impressive with such a young team — and the penalty was even on Crisp if I recall. I really like that we have an offense that responds to the opposing defense and calls plays accordingly. Brissett has exceeded my expectations. Last week he was [what?] 21-29 with no INTs and three badly dropped balls. Shad is running hard and completely changed the GSU game when he started breaking tackles. Bo Hines – nuf said. Defense needs work but they are so young that I wouldn’t be surprised to see marked improvement from week to week. Overall, I’m impressed with what DD is doing to improve our entire program. GO PACK!

Even worse than I expected. If you hang through the whole thing you’ll see that you CAN subscribe to their programming of you want. So if you are out of last minute Christmas ideas…

I saw games at Reynolds AND I like The Arena (currently PNC). It was two different experiences for sure. But the parking and concessions couldn’t be any better. Having small kids, getting them to the bathroom at the drop of a hat with no lines and TVs along the way couldn’t be better. I can run out and get a popcorn during a timeout — it’s awesome. I think the real complaints are ppl who sit on unused tickets. That isn’t the arena’s fault though and could be fixed with better operating procedures. I thoroughly enjoy the current location but think that they should focus on filling up the seats from the bottom up maybe by making the lowest seats more “general admission”. I guarantee I could come up with three workable courses of action in a day if I ran the WPC. If they focused on increasing the fan experience over straight revenue then the revenue would follow and they’d have both.
