What happened to this website? This place still appears on Twitter, if it’s the same dude.

Way too much finesse from a guy who was routinely the biggest guy in the building. Was he too nice? Too weak? No competitive drive? He could shoot but didn’t seem to really ever dominate the way he probably could have given his size and skill level. Was horribly abused in the post in too many games. Way to go out like a lamb too. Good grief saved his worst game for the biggest game of the season. Is he leaving out of embarrassment? In the grand scheme he had a disappointing and frustrating career of unrealized potential. Thanks for about 10 good games, he coulda been so much more.

I blame this loss on Dan Dakich. Let’s all just move on from this one.

I hate his voice. He’s usually right though.

Chain, the Pack just can’t control its own destiny when opportunity knocks. And it will rear its fugly head again come Selection Sunday. If Cuse, Ville and ND win another game, then we are a bubble team. Let one or two of them win 2 more games then we are NIT bound. 11 teams from ACC is not going to big Dance. A lot will depend on the outcome of games to be played in Bronx. Such a waste today…just like at GT.

Tied for 3rd in ACC, not getting left at home, sorry. Cuse and ND ain’t going in over us unless they get the auto bid.

Despite a big win over them at home when we were unconscious from 3, big driving guards are tough for our squad to handle. Sleep through the first half. Missed opportunity, I think we could have beat Clemson.

I’d be shocked if we don’t get in the tournament. I see us as a 10 or 11 seed, but solidly in.

Abu hurts us every second he’s in the game. Can’t even rebound and defend. Useless.

Ok, Agree with the dark matter thing. I’ll add 2 more sacred cows.

#1. “Global Warming”. Not sure I believe the hype at least. Have not studied it but there seems to be some serious group think going on as well as bias in regards to funding, etc.

#2. Evolution. They don’t know if it takes a “long time” or what. This to me seems like the perfect case of a “natural law” that cannot be documented other than by drawn cartoons. To solve the “long time” dilemma you would think that in fast replicating organisms we could get some confirmation to lend weight to the claim. If you can’t induce a singled cell organism to change into it’s cousin, I’m not sure how we get this now seeming unquestionable axiom.

In unrelated news I read the other day normal saline now causes renal failure….so anyway, I think these need further study and IMO the general public is wise to be skeptical of these 2 specific “scientific facts”.

I’ll add this on the while on the soapbox.

#3. Vaccines? I think generally beneficial. Hepatitis B? Not so much. Anything that is behavior oriented should not be required IMO.

Unscientific conspiracies? I’m cool with WTC7 and the moon landing. JFK is another story. Everyone knows the official Las Vegas massacre story is BS.

I would blame Markell’s play before Yurt’s. Yurt actually had a decent game, he’s never gonna be fleet footed. Had Johnson just had an average game we likely would have won. Our bench is wholly unreliable. Abu played one of his worst games. I was screaming for Lennard to go back in…boy what senior seasons they’ve had.

unless Dorn looked at the ref and cussed him out, that T was BS. If the ref is watching for everything you mutter under your breath that is uncalled for. Nobody noticed a danm thing until he paraded around like a peacock with his whistle

The NCAA is a sham. Their mission is a sham. I’ll take it one further. The member institutions themselves are shams. Their products are shams. Anything outside of hard sciences is useless drivel. People getting hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt for what exactly? The whole thing needs to come down and is a gigantic bubble. Unsustainable.

I mean hellfire. The FBI itself is dirty. Cops, teachers, lawyers, doctors, professors, preachers, Presidents, NSA, CIA etc…go on down the line. It’s the human condition. Wake up. /offrant

Everyone is dirty. You think Kentucky/Duke/UNC/NIKE and their cash cow is clean. Good heavens. Wake up people. I think it is funny they got Sean Miller on a recording though, lol. It’s always only a matter of what can be proven and what is public information.

I have no faith in Yow. She’s good friends with Gott. Is anyone trying to tell me she didn’t know he was cheating? I don’t buy it.[/quote]

Quit being so naïve. Everyone knows everyone is cheating. Its a matter of what is in the open and can be proven at this point. Has nothing to do with Yow being so called friends with Gott really.

Looks like an agent/agency gave multiple prospects money and freebies for inducement. They went on to different schools. So they are ineligible. They got the papers from this one agent. Probably a nationwide problem. End of story.

DD staying is not a totally bad thing but he has burned a lot of fan support with how this played. I’m not so bothered but many will be and a slip means he goes.

If people are really pissed he turned down a million more per year to stay at State they are imbeciles. Even Valvano used to flirt with offers and he set our program back decades by becoming his own boss to get more money. In life people look out for themselves, everybody does. Ridiculous that people are immature about perceived slights to a football program that has no real history other than ancient conference titles.

We hung on to a guy we know can get us 6 ACC wins here and be a play or 2 away from 7-8. This is not conjecture about an up and comer but data points at our university. Much more solid info than any potential hire could offer outside of a top 5 guy. Even Jimbo Fisher and guys like Harbaugh have serious question marks IMO. Could always go back downhill a little next year, but with recruiting seemingly picking up and the feeling of the overall plan and culture I think I’ll take the bird in the hand and say “the trend is your friend”. Good move by all parties.

I hope he stays based on the trend and recruiting, but he has had some really bad records and has come down to beating UNC now 2 years in a row to avoid revolt. Continual losses to Wakes and BC’s etc…overall ridiculous losing record in conference. Now if you want to be paid like a 10 win coach, you need to produce like one.

    This begins the farsical season.
College basketball is as much a sport as professional wrestling.

Hanjob’s career taught us all we needed to know about that. These latest NCAA things have I think opened up the eyes of even the most casual and non partisan fans.
