NC State has 3 4star recruits-keep them coming-a 5 star recruit is usually a one and done, the 4star guy is a 5 star after a year of experience and he will probably stay 3 or 4 years-5 star recruits make you look good in ranking recruiting-keep getting solid 4 star guys and will get better and better Lorenzo Brown 4 star Richard Howell 4 star I will take guys like this anytime-DSJ 5 star gone

The coach has been hired, all you hear is -bad hire do it again in 5 years or if he becomes a great coach he will leave us, go jump a cliff and get it over with -so much negativity-look on the bright we have a young energetic coach that players seem to want to play for-I am on board!!
I will choose to be positive until I see something to be negative about, it is what it is and I will support the new coach, forget about Archie and the others, Sean Miller was an unknown when we hired Sid and would have come here, same as Archie last time-we didn’t want to take a chance-hopefully Keatts will be that man this time around
negative vibes from Archie and we proceeded on-could have been Crean, Holtman, Wade, but I think Keatts had that something that stood out,Marshall had a price tag we were not ready to pay, glad it wasn’t Wade-extremely satisfied with who we got
Dan Dakich is not exactly the voice of reason, Sat morn when he was ask about IU and Archie he was ho hum about, lets face it he speaks out of both ends, knows everything but no knowledge on anything!!
there is a thin line between wanting respect and wanting to be buddies, Gott wanted to be friends with the players and lost their respect-I wonder which player disrespected an assistant coach during a game, hope he is one of the ones that doesn’t return-I think there is possibility that a lot of players will flourish under Keatts (Kapita and Kirk come to mind) if Abu returns I think there is a possibility he could be a monster, M Johnson is one I hope returns he is a solid point guard

Mr NegativityI agree with gowolves- some of the responses and the title is why we get a bad rap, sadly it does not represent the majority, only a selected few that have become accustomed to whining about everything-I believe Archie wasn’t ready to say yes, Marshall had a price tag to high-I am looking at the positives about Keats-he has a high ceiling, as time past I become more receptive to him, let us give him a chance, first he has to recruit in house and then on to the recruiting trail-I think there is a good chance he will save all the players worth saving, it is late in the recruitng season, maybe he get a tranfer or two
If Sean Miller has said he wants the UNC job, it is gonna be 5 years or more before Roy hangs it up, if I was AD at Arizona I would start looking behind the scenes and when I got my man I would tell Sean to hit the road. Besides UNC will probably try to get a man with UNC connectons in one way or another -just like Duke is not gonna hire Jeff Capel when K retires, he is gonna call on Chris Collins and he will come. If Archie is listening to Sean then maybe he is not the leader we thought-all of this is hearsay, I believe a tender was made to Archie behind close doors and he was not ready to say yes, Gregg Marshall price tag was more than they wanted to spend. With a handful of choices left I think they made the best choice, I think Keats can lead us back to top of conference.

Don’t even approach Gregg M or Scott Drew if you don’t have a blank check and ready to fill it in. Richard Pitino is an interestng coach, probably would not leave Minn until Louisville calls him!
Wolfpack92-Wendell Murphy ain’t in a uber he’s probably in something with more than 4 doors and I doubt if he would converse about the search with someone he doesn’t know-one thing is correct he is in New York!!
agree with WP92–just freaking do it-if he is interested make him an offer he can’t refuse-K’s falling apart his body can’t take the strain to much longer and Roy is only 3 steps away from an insane asylum -do it now
Hiring the right guy-Wade or Holtman may leave for greener pastures if it opens, I think Marshall is a loyal guy to a point and money can be a factor, I think he could be here for a long time, he is not afraid of the neighborhood, he could be that guy that is wanted and needed (if you could get him for 4.5/5.0 ) so be it go get em. If not make Archie a priority, I think once we get him here, he won’t leave unless he loses our trust. Keatts would be a good hire 2.5 and if he is successful, give him a bump –
1-Marshall (bite the bullet, just do it)
2-Archie (bring him home and make him comfortable)
3-Keatts (a project but is young and not afraid of the neighborhood)
4-Wade or Holtman -a successful hire but lock em up
6 could be a long shot or I didn’t see that coming or jeez I never thought about him!
