I had a very candid conversation with Ray Tanner at Coach Esposito’s Celebration of Life, last Thursday.
Let’s just say that Sam very much encouraged him to bolt.
Avent is under the gun.
Sacco, that’s a very fair assessment.
Hang tight AT.
Yeah. There are
Oh. You keep that sh#t up and I’ll ban your ass here, too, Mac.
If I get around to it.
SFN is not folding. Doldrums, perhaps, but it was a technical glitch that put it out of commission.
Fresh air is coming.
Pack comes up nice V Wake tonight.
Wake has long been a fly in the ointment, regardless of sport. Duke whacks the holes…all good.
What ya say?
Pack9 sweeps three from W&M and two from JMU for a 5-game winning streak-sets up for the Deacs this weekend.
Indeed ’78, the Wake series is big going into tourney time. The bats woke up over the course of this past OOC week. There are bump issues that I got to know this past weekend, but I have some baseball faith in the kids that I met and talked with. The little sh#ts appreciated holding court with we oldtimers.
Loosey goosey was the keynote we gave to these kids last Saturday. Here’s to hoping that Reid Johnston, who presented my ring, BTW, can carry some tired arms
Peeps. These youngsters are a throwback era bunch.
Stick. You may be surprised, but politics never come between friends on my end. JD and I communicate rather often.
Hell no, I won’t ever go to the right…doesn’t mean we can’t humanoid together.
BTW. Golfed with the ’73 ACC Championship baseball team this weekend…Part of the long lost ring presentation, which I must say, exceeded anything State AD has ever done.
Guess who my partner was. Jerry Mills says, “Hey”
Told ya it was gonna be a cool game.
Love all the unis.
Just remember, when one wants to dial up a 43, that guy’s responsibilities are the same as that 42 guy.
If you stick a #59 on that Rover/Wolf/Bandit, we couldn’t really tell the difference.
The Hole game is a cool one. It’s just me and you…nobody else gives a rat’s ass. The ACC clubs don’t care. It probably gets a national look, though.
The mind spins with new, situational, kickoff strategies.
I’m just giddy we are referred to as a “premier” college basketball program. Solid.
Swear to the Almighty, Wulfpack, that was the first thought in my noggin.
Mr.Grey just woke my ass up,too. Now turn the danged lantern off.
Wish that I could bring intell from this weekend, but I’ll be freezing my ass off in Corolla instead.
Not sure State shows a true Rover this year. Nickles are for the NFL and Irish urchins.
Ya know? In a sane world, we’d be talkin’ about the last 3 minutes of a game that hasn’t even started yet.
Catchers can no longer set up, which is why you’ll see more and more passed balls.
They rambled off the path with no way back.
If anybody is intrested, when Loyola of The Great Lakes sets up in the 1-2-2, that is my dad’s Match-Up zone contribution to the game of basketball. To the T.
Wish I could weigh-in, but have yet to get up and close with this squad, yet.
…Buuut…Kinneman’s hot start is no surprise, he showed all that last year. The Wilson kid at SS was a frosh AA last year, and add vets like McClain, and Deatherage, you wind up with a competitive team.
Pulling for Johnny Piedmonte once again. 6’8 from the bump, and every pitch sends nerve endings screaming from his shoulder.
Go Loyola of the Great Lakes!
I’m with Rye, except the thank yous shall come from him, first.
Then, I would return in kind.
…But he ain’t gone yet, is he?03/20/2018 at 8:50 PM in reply to: Grease Up, Hook Up, Get Ready to go to the Field – Spring Garden Thread – 2018 #133269
Boys…figured out a few weeks ago to put the brakes on.
Pulled all my spindly assed seedlings over the weekend.
