    Terrible call = Ballgame.

We needed the quick score to make it competitive. Got screwed instead. Typical…

Once again, this staff fails to have the team ready to play at the opening kickoff.

Only Hines has shown any fire thus far. What gives ???

Saw a comment posted on the ESPN article last night, and the guy said State was “Cat and the Litter Box 6”. I thought that was hysterical, and highly accurate. If the team wins more than 5 conference games, it will be a miracle…

Saw a feature on Tulloch and Operation 55 a few weeks back. Great stuff for a community that desperately needs heroes.

The team was AFRAID to go inside against freakin’ Bill & Mary. Shied away from contact all night.

Rarely drove the lane, rarely fed the post (because our “bigs” weren’t posting), and never went strong to the rim. Abu and Anya should’ve taken the backboards down against those guys, and Cat should’ve been driving and dishing.

Only Abu showed up, and that was after about 12 minutes, when the lead had already ballooned to 18-20. Anya’s “improved” offense netted three whole points, and Deondre Jordan-like accuracy from the FT line (1-5).

Glad we waited an entire year for 7 minutes and zero points from Henderson…

Got Herb’ed to death last night. Pick ‘n Roll, backdoor cuts, kick-outs to deadly shooters. Asses absolutely handed to us. Just awful.

    Dismal display of basketball tonight.

No defense, no balls on offense. Won’t attack the rim; rarely drive the lane, and never with conviction.

Got spanked by Herb’s offense, over and over and over again. Youth is no excuse, Coach – everybody’s seen the Pick ‘n Roll in rec ball growing up – these guys should know how to defend it by the time they reach college !!!

Got out-rebounded by Mary tonight. Inexcusable.

FYI – Withers is now the head coach at James Madison…

Saw an interview with him last week where he was espousing the “high expectations” he and his staff held for their players.

I got a big chuckle out of that….

All this course is lacking is the freakin’ windmill.

    U.S. Open being played on a Putt-Putt course…

That being said, what Jason Day did today was absolutely outstanding !

While Williams was only named once, there were several references to Walden, whom Roy has said was the single most important assistant he brought from Kansas… Wonder why that was, Roy ???

No mention of Fatzmobiles or disappearing parking fines, musical license plates, or other blatant impermissible benefits.

Looks like the NCAA only went after what they HAD to, not that they did any original investigative work. We all know the compost pile is WAY bigger than this !

Anybody with half a brain can look at the calendar and tie Saint Dean and Teflon Johnny Swofford to the entire fiasco, but it won’t get officially done.

From pp 53-54, regarding the LOIC:
Specifically, individuals in the academic administration on campus, particularly in
the college of arts and sciences, did not sufficiently monitor the AFRI/AFAM and
ASPSA departments or provide appropriate supervision for these academic units
and their staffs. The AFRI/AFAM department created anomalous courses that
went unchecked for 18 years. This allowed individuals within ASPSA to use these
courses through special arrangements to maintain the eligibility of academically
at-risk student-athletes, particularly in the sports of football, men’s basketball and
    women’s basketball.

Seems to specify football and M’s & W’s basketball. Fails to directly link Walden, Robinson, or Ole Roy, though they are mentioned in the mountain of email evidence supporting the LOIC charge.

My father served in WWII, so Memorial Day has always been an important holiday on my calendar. Can’t imagine doing what he and his mates did at 18-21 years of age. Fearless, tough-as-nails group. The Greatest Generation ???? Ain’t even a question.

My oldest son signed an eight year contract with Uncle Sam last year after graduating from college. Can’t be too much more specific, as those ISIS assholes have now made it dangerous to be openly proud about armed service… He loves it thus far, and he and his Selection buds are chomping at the bit to take care of the situation overseas. That is, if the government will keep their hands off and let them do it.

I’m not quite as anxious as he is for him to see live combat, as one might imagine.

Damned proud of him and his commitment to God and Country, however, and Memorial Day means just that much more…

God bless everyone who has served and is serving, and God bless the families and friends who support them !

Yeah… Given the losses from the rosters of Louisville, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Syracuse, I’d have to slide the Pack game up to #3 on this list.

Maybe higher, if the Cheats get the Death Penalty by then ??

O’Brien brought a quiet dignity to the program. Didn’t flip out and lose his cool on the sidelines. And his buy-in to the rivalry down the road was classic. Owned The Hat and dryly turned the knife at every opportunity.

Instilled tough love in our program while Da Boyz on Da Hill were partying with Fatz and cheating like hell.

He didn’t recruit well enough to lift the program above mediocre. On the plus side of that – and it doesn’t mean anything to those of you that are not in the Raleigh area – he gave opportunity to some of the Cap 8 guys that grew up in Raleigh, guys that I watched come up through Pop Warner and high school. May not have won enough games, but I loved cheering for kids I KNEW.

Welcome to The Pack, Mr. Kirk !

Nice to see a young man honor his word, especially when the enticement to renig came from the flashiest coach/program on the college scene. Already one of my favorite Wolfpack players…

Hope he lives up to the ‘Josh Davis work ethic’ comparison I saw earlier.

Starting to trust this staff, though it’s hard after 25 years of sucktitude !

What a ride this year ! Spent lots of time renting my clothes and gnashing my teeth, but there were a lot of positives. Thanks players and staff !

    Really hoping Kyle stays.

The biggest thing lacking in his offensive game is offensive game from one of the other bigs’ in the low post. Kyle’s extended range is perfect for the high post – he just needs one of the other guys to develop a reliable low post presence to work with him. That would probably take care of his poor shot selection by itself.

Abu is probably getting there faster, but Anya is progressing, and it would be great to see Freeman make a Howell-like jump on the offensive end for next year.

Imagine having the option of feeding Kyle in the high post with a legitimate threat underneath, too. Betting that’s what Gott and crew have been waiting on/working for.

How many thought the team that lost – at home – to WOFFORD would end up in the Sweet 16 ?

Came a long way this year. Still work to do.
