Anya leaving to become a professional eater. He will finish 2nd to Joey Chesnutt in 2019 in the Nathan’s Hot dog Eating Contest.

    PIR,

I’m 32 years old and I still want to be a Goonie. It’s not P.E., I’m actually a math teacher who has horrible writing skills 🙂

I’m deeply concerned about our Wolfpack just like everyone else is, just feel completely helpless as the Jenga blocks prepare to tumble once again.

A lot of truth in your statement Rye but I am a firm believer in that body language affects performance. I personally need to fix how I see things (my wife tells me I see everything with an Eeyore attitude.)null

Bad body language appears on everyone on this Earth. So does good body language. It’s natural. If you watched any games at all this season, you saw the Martin’s yelling at each other, you saw Abu get in Freeman’s face, no one listening during timeouts, everyone yelling at Anya and Cat staying even keel. If you attended a game in person you’d see the other teams stretching in warmups and doing shooting drills while our guys sit on their a$$, not have their jersey tucked in, sagging, playing 1-on-1, not shooting game shots, etc. Maybe I’m the only one that sees this. I try to look at more than the scoreboard sometimes. They played hard minus a game here and there but they didn’t listen to their coach on a consistent basis. Their coach didn’t control them. The coach is the A&O of a team and ours isn’t cutting it. We’ll be laughed at next season unless the Good Lord spares us.

    Redisgood,
“I mentioned this during the season, but there was one night when Gott was getting a recognition award from DY for his 200th career win or something like that. It was a pre-game ceremony, and I found it noteworthy not a single player looked over to watch, or applaud at the end. They completely ignored the whole event. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that before.”

Sorry, I haven’t the clue how to use the quote key, nor do I really care to learn. I remember this discussion and I remember it happening after the WF debacle in Winston Salem. These kids bailed on MG early in the year. EARLY. What we seen all season was these guys playing for each other, themselves, their university and that’s it. Coach(es) not included. Their body language was sh!t all season.

Our basketball program is a f’n joke. I got one year of eligibility left. Wonder if they would take a 32 year old fat a$$? I can help boost the GPA 🙂

If Abu leaves, we’re f*cked. We were already f*cked but you get my point.

I’m happy with the Dolphins draft for the first time in years. Hopefully we can get a couple LB’s this evening, especially Scooby Wright out of Arizona. With that being said, I wish Thuney and Brissett the best of luck, except for two weekends a year.

    Alias Troll,

You had me rolling in my Algebra 1 class this morning. My students think I’m high. Thanks for the chuckle!

Philip will always be my favorite Pack player ( along side Torry Holt) because of his passion and his disgust with losing. You don’t find many guys who have that competitive fire like he has. He always talks a lot of $hit on the field and I admire him for that as well. 🙂

Ha. Haha. Hahaha. Hahahaha. It’s not April Fools yet you a-holes. Y’all are kidding right? It was obvious from their body language that they were having some issues. Think about it guys. Whenever you saw one of the two during a game they were always barking with a teammate or at each other. BJD is correct when he says this is a MG issue.

Pitino being let go is complete speculation. Pitt would be a step up from Dayton for Archie. Does he want out now? Will he be patient to get the job he wants like Shaka did? That’s what it boils down to.

A decision needs to be made after next season regarding Gottfried and here is why. We are at a crossroads like we have never been before. We are in a situation which can set us up for years to come or remain in the depths of the sea.
    – If Roy Williams does win a championship, I believe he retires.
    – Mike Koozewooski (I don’t know how you spell it and I’m not looking it up) will be retiring soon.
    – Boeheim will be hanging it up soon.
    – Larranaga will be retiring to the beaches of Miami.
    – Pitino may be gone as soon as the tournament is over.

That my friends is 5 of the top 7 coaches in our league (Bennett and Buzz) that could or will be gone in the next 5 years. We can’t f*ck around and I hope the powers that be are thinking about this as well. Virginia Tech definitely had this in mind when they hired Buzz. If Gottfried is the man, sweet. If he is not, pull the trigger. This day and age it’s about results and if everyone is happy with sweet 16’s as a ceiling then obviously I need to find a secondary team to pull for.

Archie has 4 starters coming back, I believe. I think he waits to next season and makes a move. I don’t blame Jamie Dixon for leaving. Pitt is in the same boat as us. Mid-tier team with a couple of good runs here and there to blue ball us all. Texas is a hot bed for players and TCU isn’t going to have the high expectations (yet) that Pitt has year after year.

Oklahoma State got the best coach available, no question. Brad Underwood is hands down my favorite basketball coach. His teams show no emotion and they give you every darn thing they got. My good friend is a Kansas State alum (’08) and was freaking pissed that they didn’t hire him.

Being a hardcore Phins fan (Dolphins, NC State, Orioles… Pity me right?), I can say I’m super excited. We removed the transition tag on Vernon, who I’m not a big fan of anyways and are hopefully moving Mario opposite of Cam Wake. Wake, Suh, Mario on the front line? Holy sh!t that’s scary. All this of course if Cam can come back fully healthy from his achilles issues.
