When Jules returned after ACC POY he was the first to ever return after winning the award. Would Buckets be the second, or did A——corn Hole Hands&Blow do it as well?

That would be a great short term, horrible long term move for BC. JC has just enough years left to win and get them in trouble then retire. I say go for it BC!

^ I get all that. Total money ball and pats play, but when u look up and the whole receiving core is gone, your O was bad, and last was one of the better years, ESP for receivers. couple that with your QB loses most of the offseason, and routes and timing taking time to build you can count me in the wait and see camp.

Hurney was a moron no denying that, and based on cap room, some of these have to be done, you just don’t expect it to be a whole unit…or I don’t.

^ He gets Jackson and I back off because you at leas have a burner and a possession guy. But short of that letting all those guys go does not look like the right move, at least to me.

#1 I love this, welcome home J Clutch.

#2 He is 32, I must be getting old.

#3 how in the world do you let the entire receiving core go? Offense was our weak spot last year and we have needs at 1/2 the positions on that side of the ball now. WTF are they doing.

So I guess the streak will continue. Never have the Panthers had back to back winners….and it does not look like we will again.

    The best Panther to date.

This is a bad move, there is no number one, or really #2 that is locked in. We are not drafting high enough to get someone that could immediately replace him. And bad team mate or not he is pound for pound the toughest SOB in the NFL. He is a tone setter and that leadership will be missed.

Re: Cam’s team – only if we can move the ball and score points…

I hate 1 day contracts, but in his case, if he is gone, I would be all for that one.

It was going to happen. Duke should have beat them, Pitt did, I won’t even get into our sitchyation, and then BC gets to taste that sweet victory.

The only bright spot here is the sadexcuse will not go through the ACC undefeated.

    ^ That’s funny.

And this comes down to two things.

    1. Where does the electricity generation come from? If it is a solar cell, then it might not be so dirty. If it is coal, then it is pretty nasty.
    2. Scale? Batteries will be dirty and hard to dispose of until there are a lot, then someone will figure it out….Metal is elemental and can be recycled.

Current use for the US is less than 0.5%, but in Ca it is 2.5%. 2.5% is critical mass. It is through 8 of the 14 doubles it takes to go from zero to 100% (7 doubles, or 1% adoption is considered the crux). Because of the critical mass (and two large population centers, without very rural areas surrounding) they are able to put the infrastructure in place which will only speed adoption. (Tesla board member is also on our board….)

Money in your pocket is always a key driver and the higher gas prices get (ie Ca prices) the more adoption there will be of hybrid and plug in cars.

^ I fell in love with this team watching them play Tenn. It has been a long time since I saw NCSU players that involved, that dedicated, that together, going for one goal. It was like watching a V team as they scrapped and then huddled up. There was love and fire in those huddles.

These boys will get better because they want to. Coaching or not that fire will make them better.

And you saw one other key, Cuz was the man when it counted. Keep doing that and he could be POY.

Free throws, FREE throws, FREE throws. If we were simply shooting a decent percentage this game never goes to OT.

Of all these things we may or may not have the personnel/experince to do, we should be able to shoot better than this as a team.

Must fixed if there are any expectations past the ACCT.

JIC I am not the only one who knew not what “grey shirting” was, is or could be. From the interwebs:

“Grayshirt is another new term and is applied to the prospect that signs a letter of intent in February, but doesn’t report in the fall with his teammates. He delays entry to college until midyear, i.e. January. That NCAA five-year clock doesn’t start ticking until the player enrolls as a full time student, so gray-shirting is really a delayed version of red-shirting. For Example, Texas Tech, signed 34 players in February 2006, but NCAA rules prevent them from enrolling more than 25 to start the fall. Some of those nine other players gray-shirted during the 2006 fall season. They cannot enroll in college as full time students, can’t receive their scholarship, nor practice. It is like getting an extra year of practice, because most of these players don’t see the game field until two years later and they have the advantage of going through an extra spring practice.”

Apparently we also had some players “Green Shirt” too:
“Green shirt is a relatively new term and is applied to that high school senior that forgoes his spring semester in high school to enroll in college in January. Green means “go” as in “go early”. More and more you see high school seniors pass up their final semester to get to campus early. If a player (or the college staff), thinks he may be able to play right away as a freshman, it provides him with the opportunity to go through spring practice, learn the system, and get acclimated to being on campus. Obviously that takes some prior planning on the part of the player and his parents to insure he can graduate from high school early.”

They tried this already. TOB killed it, remember.

I am glad to see them doing it again. It only makes sense. Let’s just hope it is the Holes bowl game more often than it is ours…..

If we do play a conf game in Reynolds it needs to be the holes. IIRC they are the only team we have a losing record to between those hallowed walls. And it is only by two games, I think. I was there for our last time playing them there, a loss. A win would have at lest tied the series. Bring ’em in till we can at least get back to even! Will never happen, will lose too many ticket sales, but it pains me to have that record against those F*%#s.
