Lady Pack Shuts DOWN 17/18 FSU; 80-57

What a great game tonight in Reynolds. Wes Moore has them pumped up. Reminded them that FSU had had their way in Reynolds WAY too long. Had four in double figures. FSU started drifting behind about mid way into first half.

They made a run and got it under 10, but then Moore called a T/O and refocused them. Final was 80 – 57. Shooting percentage under 50, but FSU was under 30. Treys ruled the day. We out rebounded them….but the finals stats do not show the first half disparity. We were rocking on the boards.

FSU is 17/18 in country….now 2 – 2 in ACC and we are 3 – 1. Really wish Gott would find out what Moore is spiking the Gatorade with and order a case for the men.

Good crowd for a Thursday, probably 3000 fans. Students and Pep Band and crowd had Reynolds moving…

Aside from the blip vs Carolina (not at all to say that dropping one on the road vs #12 is something to fret over), they’re on quite a roll indeed.

I’m not sure it’s a player problem on the men’s side. Moore is enjoying this success with the hand he was dealt, no waiting for “his players” to get into the system.

But I don’t want to Bogart the convo – the women are due congrats and well-deserved. They represent the university every bit as much as any other team.

dang, the women are the real deal. congrats to them on their success so far this season. hope they make some noise in the NCAAs this year… it will be the only NCAA tourney games we can watch featuring an NC State team.

Another Lady Victory tonight in Reynolds. The first few minutes were unbelievable. The pack jumped out to a 12 or more point lead within a few minutes…..Boston College fought back in the second half….pulled within a point….but NEVER LEAD….despite some great three’s
