I agree with BotB in that I enjoy seeing how things unfold. Sometimes some great play sometimes frustration. I also am old enough to remember Duke in the days they were bloody awful. I just missed the point fixing scandal involving UNX and apparently others. I’ve seen a lot (including Eddie Payne from WF driving the length of the court to help WF beat UNX in the ACC tourney.

Gott either is worth more time or not. I’m thinking not right now but we shall see.

I was with Gott until this year – IMO best thing that can happen is DSJ going pro and Gott out to pasture.

In the Les days I attended a few games. A talent gap no doubt – serious recruiting limitations but the players always played.

Seems we are seeing the usual progression of an NC State team under Gotfried. Now that we are seeing some positives maybe it is the turning point for the season – or maybe not. I think Duke is really hobbled without K on the bench plus we knew they had significant player issues (as does the Pack). In each case lots of talent but putting that together has been a problem for both. Super win for the Pack but there is always the next game.

I don partake but I see no reason to think pot is more dangerous that alcohol, prescription meds and even that donut you had this morning. Yes there are issues for some but I can say the same for all the things I mentioned. To me the issue is driving while impaired (pot, alcohol, prescription meds and maybe even that donot taking your attention away from the job at hand). Minus that I really don’t care.

BtoB being a Methodist church there are many Duke supporters but quite a few UNC and NC State people. The fact we can coexist is a testament to his mercy but not doubt I will have to pray for mercy for my sins tomorrow.
