Nice work on the info!!! truly enjoy the stats they are an eye opener many times, are strength of schedule is our only savior at this point. we really need three wins before the end of the season. or we are going to need a couple of good games during the ACCT.

Currently preparing to watch tonight’s game, These preparation’s may help a lot of state fans watching from home.

    1. If your TV is valuable, stop at Lowes and get a thick piece of Plexiglas and place it 1 foot in front of the screen supported by heavy structural members, Lateral and wind loads may be necessary.
    2. Give a gift card to your spouse or loved ones so they can remove themselves to a more pleasant environment.
    3. Consult a psychiatrist, about anxiety induce depression. or basketball induced psychosis.
    4. Prepare all snack foods so they are easy to swallow, some of those gasping moments could become deadly if your eating one of those 2.317 wings you had left over from the football game.
    5. While at Lowes pick up spackling, sheetrock tape, may be needed in a hurry, after game and before wife or loved one gets home.
    6. Secure the dog in a safer location. You can kick the cat, its my belief they act like Carolina Fans anyway.
    7. Make sure remote has new batteries, you do not want to be stuck on that channel when it come down to a state player shooting free throws for the win.
    8. Extra oxygen for those Zebra call that defy imagination and eyesight.
    9. An so that you will not loose your voice during the game, make a sign that says (WTF!!!!!) so you can hold it up ever time one of those minutes come a long.
    10. Have a necklace or bracelet made that says ” NCSTATE fan ” that way the hospital staff wont send you to the mortuary, instead they will start a Jack Daniels intravenous drip. the only cure for a GOTTFRIED Induced COMA.

This team certainly has regressed to a point where bottom can be reached without bending over, but the good news is there’s just no where to go but up, having no talent and loosing every game would be a relief compared to the inspiring belief that you can win!!!

This team showed a lot of heart in a road win, against a team that has proven they are not an easy out, while we would love to be 19-0 the truth is we have shown we are no Duke caliber program, while the team appears to be somewhat Jekyll looking for Mr. Hyde, we cannot forget that they have as much potential to win as they do to loose. while the game against Clemson made us look like a rabid Fox, today the Wolf showed up. WE can only hope the Fox has died and has come back as a zombiefied WEREWOLF!!!

My only criticism is that GOTT seems to have motivational issues, its like we can only prepare for a game, after a lost.

I just got back to the site and would like to say, that I enjoy the dialogue and the spirit of the group, and would like to apologize as the comment was inappropriate, and I was just a little frustrated by the loss.

I would also like to thank everyone for participating and all of the comments I have read have been insightful and refreshing.

OK who is it that believes potential recruits never scout schools for the most playing time that’s why Kentucky, Duke, and Carolina always have good classes, those great players leave early, then they get great players in positions that will yield the most playing time. they also retain quality players’, what I call second tier recruits. So yeah recruiting may be off a little for next year. but where you going to play if you are a top recruit, the core of this class is not going to leave.

Also this team is well balanced, tough year with the sixth toughest schedule in the country and you believe that the coach sucks and the players have no heart.

What sorry fans yaw are, that was a good team they played last night and yes they almost won, You can believe that we never get looked over when we are playing these so called elite basketball programs. keep believing your team is second class and hopefully that self fulfilling prophesy will never come true. but this team will win more games than they loose and will probably knock off another number 2 team before its over.

    I for one “BELIEVE”

I believe!!! WE can win 6 more games and given the grit in this team, and any improvement in the defense, we can finish in the top 6 in the conference, while this may seem like a bubble, I Believe!!!

We played the 15th ranked team in the nation, we were never suppose to win, but what an effort, by this team. They played very well against all odds, we have turned a corner, we just need to come out and play this way every night and we will win more than we lose. 2cts worth.

It always seems impossible until it’s done.” – Nelson Mandela
“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” – Walt Disney

The last thing any NCSTATE fan should ever do is doubt the possible,

“what do we do when we fail? we pick ourselves back up” said The Butler to BATMAN.

Is Trevor Lacy really “BATMAN” and can Ralston Turner be Robin, course we don’t have Cat woman, but we do have Cat Barber. I’m going to get drunker than a skunk and quote this stuff all night at the Bar.

It is my belief that we will win right up until the point where it appears we wont. outside the fact its on the road and against a very good team that is undefeated, this may be offset by the law of averages and the fact that Virginia is not going to finish the season undefeated, may be just the cosmic edge we need to defeat them at their house. while I believe the odds are astronomical, I still believe in an occasional faith based surprise especially after the look on the faces of the UNX fans after their recent letdown.

So they are good on defense and yes they are a very good offensive team compared to shots taken and points scored. I believe that we can win because this is the ACC and you had better bring it every night or the law of averages will catch up with you.

So as a fan that has seen David Thompson play in real life and very rarely misses a game, I believe this team can win.

I spend a lot of time reading these comments, so the roller coaster ride of emotions from one game the next is little more than inspiring, I find this years team to be very functional but not very fluid. They seem to thrive off of any spark and then move forward from there. A lack of enthusiasm appears to be as much a part of there character as their wealth of talent.

Having watched every game I believe this team struggles with an identity. It’s uncharacteristic of this team to react to another team, but appears some what reactive to there own personality.

If they learn to be winners they will be tough to beat. I predict a 9 win season with some really bad loses and some throw downs on some realy good teams, I especially believe a slow pace with virginia could result in a surprise win. Either way this team can win!!!
