Yo Jigawatt, if you’re using First Row, expand the viewer to fill the screen. That does away with the annoying pop-ups. I have a 2 screen setup so I don’t mind having the vid take over one of them.

re: Vandwagon – seems like some guys fail to realize how big they are, and how to use their advantage. I thought the ECU game was an indication that he was past that, but maybe not.

Go Packers! What a nutty game, including the Packers’ fumblerooski. No excuse for the Bears there, play to the whistle boys. The Pack converted on 3 fourth down plays on their final drive, including the winning TD. I was still holding my breath at the end though, as the GB D has shown that they can be had pretty easily. But once again, Cutler failed to deliver.

Ditto for the Lions. The path was wide open for both of them once Rodgers got hurt, yet GB is in with an 8-7-1 record. I will not apologize!

    Bring on SF!

Regarding Cat, I have seen speculation that he might go pro after this year. I seriously doubt that will happen, unless he gets some bad advice.

I had a really good feeling when KW hit a J to go up 2 after Mizz had crawled back to tie at 54. It felt like State had weathered the storm and was up for the fight. Cat then had that in ‘n out 3 followed by an old-fashioned 3 point play by Mizz, putting them up 1. After trading 2 threes each, it became a game of execution with a minute to go. Mizz hit 5 FTs along with 4 rebounds inside 1:23 to seal the deal, while State had that awful possession ending with the forced 3, and Cat’s missed FT. And NO rebounds inside 1:23.

TJ actually did get his hands on the ball and was credited with the assists on both of Turner’s 3’s, so he was involved.

At least the announcers called out the bad officiating.

Wow, Vandy gets dribbled into, then that crap in the lane. New rules – do not like.

I have to hit the road right at game time, so it will be one of those afternoons when I’ll have to follow the score via WiFi and Touch, then hopefully hurry home (alliteration always brings good luck) to catch the last 10 minutes of a victory. Before the men’s contest I’ll try to catch some of the women’s game, and afterwards it will be UFC with Rousey-Tate aka Popped Elbow Part Deux, and Weidman-Silva aka The I Ain’t Jadeveon – No More Clownin’ Rematch.

Pffft, everyone knows that the Asheville Citizen-Times is in bed with the Wuffies. I’ll never read that rag again. Heck, Jarret probably went to State and studied cows or something. They’re all trying to bring Carolina down. Roy’s a stand-up guy who is sticking by his team. If PJ doesn’t get a second or fifth chance his life is ruined. I bet some State guys did far worse, everyone knows it. I have license plates.

The women need to hold the fort against KSU, then they have 2 big opportunities against #20 Syracuse at home and #10 UNC at CH. Make some noise Pack!

re: avatars – I believe that Wuf is correct, since I didn’t do anything to get my avatar to appear. I do have a WordPress account under the same screen name, so at first I thought it was related to that since this is a WP based site, but I just checked that account and that avatar is managed with Gravatar too.

Thanks for the hard work guys. I’m looking forward to the return of the forums as well.

And I’d like to add my vote to having the comment count appear with each article on the homepage. Seeing that a couple of new comments have been posted always leaves me guessing… Will it be another Homeric essay from Adventuroo? An insightful and/or cryptic note from Cowdog? A late-night Packer in Russia communiqué – from parts unknown – entered via the darknet on a cobbled together vodka-powered TRS-80? The mind races…

Last but not least, I really like the mean-ass wolf with the fiery red eyes at the bottom of the homepage. That belongs at the top IMHO.

Oh yeah, I checked it on an old Gen 2 iPod Touch w/ iOS 4.1 (Santa better come through this year), it’s a little slow loading but stable.

Haha @ da Bears. I was hoping that Trestman would stay with Cutler. I’ll throw Jay on the over-rated QB pile.

GB loses, looked like Flynn missed an open Nelson on the last play. Hate the 10 second run-off. Go Eagles!

GB gets away with a squidgy call on the blocked field goal aftermath. I’ll just consider that karma for Tomlin in the field of play from a few games back 🙂

@BJD – there was talk up here on Seattle sports radio of the Seahawks not giving their all for this game, since an AZ win could affect SF’s playoff chances. SF plays ATL though, so that’s a longshot IMHO. Seems more prudent for SEA to go ahead and lock up homefield.

^^I’m over the Harbaugh’s too, not that I was ever enamored with them. The brother vs. brother Super Bowl hype was just about more than I could take.

Go Packers! It’s amazing that they still control their destiny and by beating the Steelers and Bears can make the playoffs.

Just watched the ACC Digital Network highlights of Vandwagon’s 7 dunks. I would have loved to have seen that performance in person!

The Vandwagon’s line looks pretty darn good. 9 for 10 shooting, am I seeing that right?
