This felt way too much like a Duke game.
12/28/2013 at 10:05 PM #33376GowolvesParticipantChoppack1 that crap isn’t needed
12/28/2013 at 10:05 PM #33377JeremyHParticipantThey just threw Warren to the floor.
12/28/2013 at 10:05 PM #33378packer74ParticipantPoor execution down the stretch. You have to make FTs at the end.
12/28/2013 at 10:06 PM #33379TexpackParticipantSo Cat scores zero of a potential three FTs in the final minute. Clutch.
12/28/2013 at 10:06 PM #33380RickKeymasterWorst reffing all year. Big time screw job
12/28/2013 at 10:06 PM #33381budfox88ParticipantOur coaches let us down tonight. Where is gott?
12/28/2013 at 10:07 PM #33382JeremyHParticipantToo bad we can’t have the sophomore version of Cat now.
12/28/2013 at 10:07 PM #33383bill.onthebeachParticipantI just have one question…
Mizzou’s starting front line tonight was 6’5″ – 6’5″ and 6’9″….
How many times did you see Vandy, Freeman, TJ or Anya get the ball down on the blocks tonight….
I told ya’ll a couple of weeks ago that with a young team…. coaching should get you 3 or 4 wins a season…..
Tonight was one of those…. but it just didn’t happen… and it wasn’t because all of our guys did not play solid, consistent, hard ball for forty minutes because they did that.
We should have won this one by ten or more…..
Mr. Dog could out-coach Frank Haith.
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!12/28/2013 at 10:08 PM #33384JeremyHParticipantYou have to admit it though, we bricked a ton of shots tonight, at home.
12/28/2013 at 10:08 PM #33385theTHRILLParticipantStill a ways to go to be taken seriously. Same old story.
12/28/2013 at 10:08 PM #33386Alpha WolfKeymasterWoulda, coulda, shoulda.
I think they’ll learn from this, but damn, oh so close.
12/28/2013 at 10:08 PM #33387RickKeymasterThis game is a microcosm of why college football is so much better than college basketball. The refs have way too much control over what happens and tonight it showed.
I tire of this crap
12/28/2013 at 10:09 PM #33388MrPlywoodParticipant*sigh*
12/28/2013 at 10:09 PM #333891.21 JigawattsKeymasterI expected to lose this game before the season and even a week ago, just don’t like it when the refs are so bad it influences games where it effects the outcome of a close game.
12/28/2013 at 10:09 PM #33390budfox88ParticipantAnd I’ve said for years now, we will never be a winning program til the team can hit FRE THOWS DAMMMMMIT. We get beat these tight games every time because of free throws. Why didn’t we full court press in the last 2 min?
12/28/2013 at 10:10 PM #33391ncsu1987Participant“Hmm. So haith is the bad coach here?”
What precisely is the basis for this comment?
12/28/2013 at 10:11 PM #33392GowolvesParticipantTired of this crap about poor coaching. The team didn’t execute at times. Lewis is just not an option as a back up point guard. The refs called a shit game. 25 attempts and 18 for the pack at the line. The inconsistent calls was really the problem versus the free throw attempts.
12/28/2013 at 10:11 PM #33393PackFamilyParticipantI am so tired of hearing about refs. Just win. The whining is old. It just makes you feel better about losing.
12/28/2013 at 10:11 PM #333941.21 JigawattsKeymasterBuckets also disappeared during the final 10 minutes of the game. I don’t fault any player who scores 24, it’s just difficult when we need him and we can’t seem to find him when the game is being decided.
12/28/2013 at 10:12 PM #33395vapackfanParticipantCan’t get get the f…..g ball over the front of the rim. Pitiful!!!
12/28/2013 at 10:13 PM #33396choppack1ParticipantLook…this game isn’t on cat. I am convinced he is doing everything he is asked to do as was the pg last year.
I think our guys are well-conditioned, play hard and run their stuff. I think gott is doing a solid job….hopefully, this team will continue to improve and won’t let this game be like the Clemson football game.
12/28/2013 at 10:14 PM #33397JeremyHParticipantwas Buckets tired from playing all that D?
They adjusted better at halftime and beat us. Too many drives were automatic foul calls and we did nothing to adjust.
12/28/2013 at 10:15 PM #33398bill.onthebeachParticipant“So Haith is the bad coach here?””
Not tonight — 87.
But I will stand by my statement that…
“Mr Dog can out coach Frank Haith”.Don’t blame the refs…
You don’t get fouls when you don’t go inside….#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!12/28/2013 at 10:15 PM #33399TheAliasTrollParticipantWell the better team lost tonight, but damn coach, that play drawn up with 19 seconds remaining left a lot to be desired.
