Snow here (NW NC out from W-S) but no freezing rain or ice of any kind. In fact snowing again right now. Low tonight 8 F – hope the water pipes don’t freeze – they shouldn’t with one night of that cold but with a repeat tomorrow who knows.
I think the big thing is we now have depth at every position. So if a player has an off night he can rest, if a player is not performing he can sit. One thing we can do most nights is go full out. I also see improvement in the players. Added to that they obviously like each other so they are more likely to make the extra pass. Even DSJ (who I thought came in with an attitude) seems to be rounding into shape.
BotB I used to work with a man who has BS, MD and PhD from Vandy – to him they were always the commode doors.

And I hope some one puts their center on his ass over that head bob thing. Mean Machine football.It’s all in who has the podium. Like the debate over NC Congressional districts – both parties have played that game to the determent of the state as a whole. I also will not defend Pat (or Roy for that matter) – it is all political theater and designed to attain and keep power.
Some things divide us, some unite us. But for a day or so let’s enjoy our common interests. Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
I prefer apple brandy but that is neither here or there. My college buddy was here for a quick visit yesterday. Sadly I didn’t have a fruitcake finished for him to take to his dad. That is still on the agenda. He hates fruitcake but his dad loves it and claims mine is the best ever – don’t know about that but it is pretty darn good.
We decided each person should decide what cause to support. Luckily even if we have differing political views we do not use those as a weapon for family warfare. Depends on the family of course.
My daughter and I discussed this in general. We decided that each family member who wishes to participate donate to their favorite charity. No discussion of politics (ours are radically different but we can actually discuss and not shout). The take away was we all already have plenty of crap and if we can make the world a bit better with a donation so be it. We are not into revenge gifts.
The thing I really liked is the starters were as excited for the scrubs scoring as they were for themselves. Reminds me of days long ago.
And his favorite reindeer is Frosty :). I happen to agree with him I’ll probably be dead before this is settled.
I suspect what happened is the university prez and the PR people had a word with K. Once Allen gets a chance, twice maybe, three times and he is on the outs as far as I’m concerned.
