AT. Come over here and sit down with me. Have I told you about the pitfalls of senior day?

I was entertained. Football survives another day.

    Go Pack.

I figured so, Yogi. I didn’t tangle with many LBs.

Yogi, I knew a lotta guys from Clemson and USC, albeit mostly from the baseball side. A couple played both, too.

Fine day for football. Hines passed the concussion protocol, and hopefully makes it through unscathed. He is truly the difference maker.

Did Doeren and staff work the players’ state of mind well enough this week? Were they able to shed the baggage of the 1-3 stretch? I look at these kinds of indicators more so than X and Os. Execution…Sharp and focused. Above all, belief.

    AT…WTF? I’m leaving your stuff up for…

“Senior Day concerns me. It’s been my experience that it can hurt you as much as help you. To me, the emotional advantage goes to the underdog, especially a “decided” underdog in a rivalry game.”

    Man…
Some of you guys are a real piece of work.
I was concerned about the battle to get the team’s collective psyche back together for this coming Saturday.

    My concern is misplaced.

In reality, Va’s welcomed take is dead nuts on.
The journey this team has taken has been too fast to grasp.

    Y’all don’t give a s”it, do ya?

They do need to read first. Interesting that he pulled Kidd-Glass right after the play, though.

I brought the question up on a site for former players. DBs blamed the safety and the LBs called out the backers.

    * I just listened to the presser. He most certainly did say that the LBs were NOT in the proper alignment (Mac?). Note: He did not throw them under a bus, either.

How ’bout pull a Wake Forest, and throw some screens to Hines?

    Bill…I agree.
Except #4, of course. Now, Harmon running ‘tween tackles would be the ultimate Bill The Cat, fo’ sho’.

Mac. Those delay of games were high school. I don’t know who has the responsibility on the special team watch, but know for damned sure there is one guy with a headphone that can call for a timeout anytime he pleases.

Bill The Cat has been tipping plays, lately, by virtue of formation.

Well, it’s always on the coaches.
That’s why Dexter Wright, at safety, came in for Kidd-Glass after Dillion’s rip for 6. LB’s
were not out of position on that particular play. In fact, Pratt shot the gap to where he almost made the play for a loss…had Kidd-Glass not attempted outside leverage on a TE, Dillon would have been hemmed at the line of scrimmage.

Don’t feel like doing a clinic here. State misses Josh Jones…Period.

Further, on the bonehead execution of the double pass…It should have been checked out of by Finley. It was doomed from the beginning, even if Jsam’s toss was accurate.
BC had already committed to a strong side blitz. The kids saw it, and further boogered it up.

…But they ballsed up and got it done.

Wake might be better than anyone not named Miami or Clemson.

Time out. Y’all railed on the 52 yard FG attempt, which with dearth of points, was totally the right thing to do. The Bill the Cat got us a 12 yard touchdown with Jsam.

The 46 and 43 on D jammed up the running game in the 2nd half. In game, ain’t that bad.

6 drops from a receiving core that has been more than dependable. That’s not even counting the contested ones.

Try to imagine this, peeps. For a “Southern” team, no cold weather win is ugly. Generally…They are few and far between. At all levels.

I gave our Pack a less than 50/50 chance to pull it off, today. They got the breaks that were due, and I mean DUE!
