Right now, all I can think of is chowder and how awful it would be for State to base 42. Gimme mo’ Pratt with the usuall suspects. He’s a safety in Wolves clothing, anyway.Sure they miss Dayes…When Hines ain’t around. Schools like State, even with really decent back-ups, can only match up so much to the “perennially” loaded.
We will find out about all of this as the season begins to close, beginning this weekend.
What about punt returns. The claim is that it has been a consistant problem under this staff, as has been the place kickers. 2.75 seasons worth of inconsistency with the place kicking, I grant. Coverage has not been an issue until this season…And would have looked a whole lot better had our gunners broken down, Saturday…Like they are coached to do.
I have a slight issue with the Pack 42 D this year. Reason? No Josh Jones to aid inside gap support, pure and simple. He is sorely missed back there.
I am on the way home after spending all day and half the night with former teammies, and some that played before us. All smiles in between the damns and sh*ts.
The best way to get them back in the seats is clearly a competitive home schedule, year after year, and a product to match. Simple as that…And misters for September.

….Not to belabor a point, but I caught Mark Thomas’ post game take. He used the word “belief” in relationship to the Pack within themselves and system, approximately 3 times over what I have over the past couple years. And I’ve used it so much that it’s caused screen burn.
The fleet remains intact…Marlin and Jim survive to give us another episode where we’ll see them on the lookout for the elusive Leprechauns, two weeks from today.
