If we go .500 in conference Gott should be the national coach of the year. It’s going to be a long ugly season in the ACC.
After today’s results, the mighty, unbeatable, other worldly, center of the football universe SEC stands at 8-9 against OOC P5 teams. Two of their “great” teams lost today by a combined 91-37. It’s ESPN trying to protect their investment in the SEC Network. I wrote enough tuition checks to The Ohio State University that I will be all in for the Buckeyes tomorrow night.

Wow. That’s classless. You have to realize that for all of the rivalry talk, Arkansas is 21-56 all time vs Texas. It’s not been much of a series in reality.
I’m really not sure this is an NCAA worthy squad. We could end up being one, but I would put us at 40/60 in/out as a prediction. If we don’t beat Cincy we have to really over achieve in the conference to get in. I’ve been hyping the bigs for a little over a year and they keep laying eggs on the offensive end. I still think that group can be a superior group for us, but they’re taking a lot longer to develop than I thought they would.
Congratulations to Bo Hines on getting in to Yale. Can’t be anything other than happy for him. He did a great job for Stste and sounds like he’s a top notch kid. Good luck to him in the future.
I hope Duke pulls this out. Todd Graham is universally regarded as a first class prick here in H-Town.
Just an awesome bowl day yesterday. DD has raised the bar for next season. Now we will get to see if this staff can continue to develop the kids they have brought in. It should be a fun next 2-3 years seeing what the ceiling is.
