Crowder said she started this scam because she felt so bad for those poor athletes. They must remain eligible at UNC in order to avoid prison and a life of poverty. UN-fuggin-believable!! Did she ever figure that they could transfer to ECU and still make it in life? She didn’t care about those athletes one bit!

Does Thornton’s height give us some sort advantage in the pre-snap reads, being able see over the linemen and recognize the defense? I don’t see Dayes being able to get a very good look back there.

What I “think I know” about the Wildcat fundamentals:
-shotgun w/ qb split wide
-direct snap to a rb/wr type playmaker
-often a man in motion (to determine defense man/zone/gap assignments
-every play is a “read” playIf there was ever a good time to run the Wildcat, it was yesterday with all of those great recruits on the sidelines/stands. Nyheim Hines must have loved what he saw, Gallaspy sure did! Plus, we ran the ball “conventionally” quite enough, successfully. We didn’t abandon it all together.
Appeasing recruits musn’t have been the ONLY reason we ran the Wildcat, but it proves that we are committed to an identity. Break the corner once or twice and it could have been a different story. My question concerning the Wildcat is why did we use it in short yardage situations? Was it a “power” package that I didn’t see?
Ive put my body through hell the last couple of days, with the Ryder Cup and football and all. We got Gallaspy in the end,so it was worth it. I’m proud!
