Wish we could further develop our relationship with Tennessee Vols by setting up a football series(again), buy out of some really crappy games with EK, ODU, SA, Troy. I’d welcome getting beat by them for the opportunity, even if it cost us a bowl. I’d go to their place twice for 1 trip to Raleigh. On a basketball note, the guys did well. Hope it carries over to WV. by the way what happend to KW? Missed the first half and didn’t see Kyle til late down the stretch. You always wonder in this day and age when you have perceived depth, who is going to start to feel slighted with regard to PT.

Can’t imagine a worse ooc schedule than 2015. The Troy and EK games sgould be boycotted. The guys should be able to win without the fans. We really going to ODU and SA ??? I remember playing Ohio State one year.

Wiltz 6-5 280 now. After a redshirt year and a year as a backup, maybe he’s 6-6 325 benchpressing cars as a redshirt sophmore. Big boy.

Speaking of commits, don’t be surprised if you see a local 2015 4* FSU commit to flip to the pack…

Not sure this bunch wins again. I fully expect our most hated rival to sweep us…again…just like our higher ranked girls managed to get swept. There is no relief for State fans. I’ve just about given up my fandom anyway. I used to make such an effort to catch everything I could Wolfpack. I almost have no desire to watch anything Pack related anymore. My son who I unfortunately raised a State fan hates watching games with me I’m so negative. There is no coach on this planet that can lead the bb program back to its glory days. It cannot be done. This team will get better and may actually be good enough to finish 5th or 6th in a couple more years. That’s our ceiling get used to it.

The eyeball test told me he did a darn good job under less than desirable circumstances.

You should make yourself go to a womens game chppack1. Some good ball. I was at the LSU game and I’d say well above your typical highschool game stuff. Hell they scored bout 90 on LSU. Girls hishschoolers aint reaching 60 in regulation. I challenge you to take one in. I plan to catch some more games this year. They could use the crowd support, and it wasn’t a horrible crowd vs LSU for students to be on break.

Can’t believe women not ranked after dominating LSU. That would be my forum if it were up and running. Anyway, Merry Christmas Statefans.

Back to the title and speaking of resume building…Lady Pack downed #12 LSU tonight. Led most of the game. #34 Gattling was a beast with bout 24 pts dominating inside. The girls are now 11-1 and I suspect will crack top 25 next rankings. Wow what a difference a coach makes.

The Men’s team was there. Thought that was interesting.

Agree Alpha. It’s flagrant. When I went to the wral website, they had front page update of the unc game vs Texas in progress…as if #1 and #2 in the country were playing and everbody needed to know. That game was no more significant to this area than the ours vs UT. We won on the road and UNC sh1t the bed…at home…again.

FWIW, i think the rankings right now are a joke. Alot of teams ranked on reputation and their recruiting class. I am NOT impressedwith UNC’s wins. The Kentucky win? Meh. I think our freshmen, though maybe not as talented, are figuring it out quicker. Michigan State looked like they had not practiced or played since last season. Honestly, did not see the Louisville game.

As mentioned Tyler is best at distributing. Maybe our young players are not doing a bang up job at putting themselves in a receiving position. We do seem to have a group with the ability to create on their own to some degree. When TL has the ball they almost seem to concentrate more on defending his passes more than his shooting. He’s gotta make them pay.

Also, anybody read the write up on wral? Writer sounded like a Pack hater or really disgusted Pack fan. Emphasis was on how poor UT did and how we almost blew it. Put 1 sentence by itself as if it were the only good thing they couldout. We had 12 blocks. Just sounded bitter.

That tells whoever is being recruited at qb that they have 1 year to redshirt, 1 year to backup, and 3 years to start if they can handle it.

Don’t really want to hear it. Just get back on course quickly. Need to win 6 and get back to a bowl for starters. If we don’t do that next year, I would say this crowd is not capable. The ACC is not that friggin good.

Watched Curry’s last shot, BIG pushoff with the left arm, same crap Miller w/ FSU fouled outr on, and the ref was looking directly at it from 10 feet. Same shot as us, swallow the whistle and let Duke shoot.

I am hoping with a game under his belt he will refine some issues.

1-He has to develop an internal alarm clock…couple of the sacks were on him for holding the ball too long.

2-he has to at least try a long ball. He went safe or uncatachable.

3-recognize double coverage which he threw into alot early.

Issue Glennon has he cannot control is his receiving group. I don’t know what the hell happened to George but he had a drop and completely disappeared. I said in another post, but when your FB is line up as a slot receiver, something is wrong.
