Louisville was in an all-out war at Western Kentucky earlier, which saw Montrezz Harrell get thrown out for throwing a punch. Very intense game throughout, and the Cardinals held on to win by 9.
Syracuse has been kinda pedestrian so far this season, but was up double digits at Villanova earlier – Wildcats are rallying in the 2nd half though.
Interesting weekend for the ‘directional’ Kentuckys – WKU had a literal battle with Louisville earlier, while 6-4 Eastern Kentucky throttled ranked Miami last night in Coral Gables by 28 points, 72-44.
College basketball is wild.
Just saw on ESPN.com that Mick Cronin (Cincy’s coach) is out indefinitely with an aneurysm. No medical expert, but just the sound of that doesn’t seem very good. Hope it’s something he can recover from.
They play the Pack Dec 30.

‘Nova downs ‘Cuse in OT … tough loss for the Orange. Would have been a big, possible season defining win for them.
Solid day for ACC to this point. Syracuse takes highly ranked Villanova to OT while L’ville, GT, UNC, FSU & VPI have already won.

Praying for Cronin. My uncle died of a brain aneurysm 25 years ago. The science has come a long way since then and they are better at treating the brain swelling that comes with the surgery (if that’s how they treat it here).

Holy frijole, just got home and turned on the UK/UCLA game. Was expecting a woodshedding, but not to this degree.
Kentucky is freaky scary good. They have a shot at going undefeated, as weak as the SEC is.
This Cronin story is terrible. I know he is a maniac on the sideline but I like him. Very honest, works his tale off. Hoping for the best for him. Puts it all in perspective.

Texas Southern had 1 win entering today’s contest in East Lansing … they won at Michigan State in OT. Amazing. Michigan continues it’s slide, losing at home to SMU. Purdue had a disastrous 2nd half and lost by 31 against Notre Dame. Some wild results in college bball this season.
Man, I sure hope we don’t lay an egg tonight…and our bigs need to play better on the offensive end….I guess these guys don’t play zone…I suppose that’s a good thing.
