We are taking care of the Aggie neighbor’s dog this week so my wife and I dressed her in a UT sweater and had her pose for a Christmas picture next to a Texas stocking on Christmas morning.
Of course it comes right after the Pack’s last ESPN3 basketball game airs.
But, baseball is right around the corner.<br>
Harder to find pirated feeds for those so…woo hoo!!It’s not the last one for those of us living outside of ACC country. I have login rights from my ISP but only for ESPN3 content so I’m looking forward to this. Mrs. Texpack will watch the UT football games relegated to Longhorn Network as well. DirecTV/AT&T is about to drive the last few nails in the Dish Network coffin.
By getting to 7-5 with the thrashing beatdown destruction domination obliteration ownership of “The Branch Campus”, we have turned this into what is almost a house money game. I’m sure that the coaches and players want to continue to build on the late season wins and take advantage of the national exposure to cast our program in the best possible light. A win by any margin would be a very nice end to season two of the DD rebuilding process. I’m looking forward to the game. UCF was extremely fortunate in two of their AAC wins so they may not be quite as stout as their 9-3 record would suggest.
WulfPack – I’d say that’s a reasonable take. We are so perimeter oriented that we will be very hot and cold. We do play enough defense to keep us in some games and weather some dry spells, but the dance is a real reach for this year. I’m very disappointed in the offense from the bigs. That’s what we lack to be a dangerous team, but we are 13 games in and I just don’t see it. Maybe the light goes on for somebody, but I doubt it at this point.
With ESPN3 locked up I had to go with the game cast option. Reading this thread after the game was over was priceless. This group doesn’t quit. Enjoy the week off. See everyone on Friday for the fake money bowl.

In all seriousness, I’ve been working in Texas for 30 years and I’ve never worked with a bad engineer from either UT or A&M. Both apparently have very solid engineering schools.

They are keeping two guys on the ball handler in the back court. Abu was a disaster as the outlet. Frenchie was much better. We just don’t have good spacing. Hopefully Gott can get that fixed at the half. Next week I’ll explain how our press breaker is supposed to work. I see what we are setting up, we just aren’t executing it correctly.
When you create an advantage with the step through, the rest of the team has to spread out. That will get you open shots and kill them. When everybody runs down the middle of the floor you make it easy for the D to recover. This is basic stuff.
