We struggle against really physical teams. But this bunch isn’t laying down, and we are testing ourselves voluntarily. Let’s see if we can punch back a little next half, even if we ultimately lose.

Now… we have missed 9 shots and WVa has missed 17 shots…
so that 5 rebounds / 17 shots = 29%that will win alot of ballgames ….

now if we have gotten one more rebound for each BIG (4)
and if each BIG had taken one more shot with his rebound..the game would be tied…

We really do. I’m thankful for this game at this point in the season. It may not change a thing, but at least the coaches and team can point back at this game as an example of how tough we need to be against teams of WVa’s ilk.
This game is not over though, I’m not giving up til the last breath.
They are keeping two guys on the ball handler in the back court. Abu was a disaster as the outlet. Frenchie was much better. We just don’t have good spacing. Hopefully Gott can get that fixed at the half. Next week I’ll explain how our press breaker is supposed to work. I see what we are setting up, we just aren’t executing it correctly.
The bigs are a non factor mostly. Anya can block some shots but not sure what else he offers right now. Gott isn’t pleased with him.
Just joined so I was spared the first half. Deadskins won today so anything is possible. Dig in State, just another trench fight.
