Everybody looks like they are on ice skates with butterfingers. This press is good, but THAT good? Don’t think so.
We have absolutely no clue how to attack the press. This is about to pass frustrating and enter embarrassing territory.
I guess we had no game tape to know this was going to happen.
When you create an advantage with the step through, the rest of the team has to spread out. That will get you open shots and kill them. When everybody runs down the middle of the floor you make it easy for the D to recover. This is basic stuff.
Awful! Why don’t we press, play intense defense, move on offense? Heck we can’t even dribble.
What exactly does Freeman do exactly? Can we get Bobby Knight to come over and get in someone’s face? Doesn’t look like Gott will and we have no leadership. Common guys!
