Funny how the dolts at ESPN don’t get that.
The other concept that the dolts don’t get is vacating wins. I read “everyone knows who won” and “you can’t erase history”, etc. It doesn’t matter to them if the players where ineligible, if there were recruiting violations to get them to the school in the first place. Fingers crossed (but not holding my breath) that at least one banner comes down.
I’m torn here. Love that Dook isn’t ranked, but State only beats ranked teams. What to do? Hell, just beat ’em.

And on cue, the fans will say “it’s not fair to the kids there now”. Or “anyone involved is gone now.” Are these people that obtuse or do they really not get that it’s the <i>program</i> that is getting punished. I’d love to see unx get hammered and then some class action lawsuits from the recent recruits who were lied to.

I thought this might be on the BTN Network. They broadcast a good many of their conference matches. Sadly not. Looks like the only option is their paid stream. I guess I’ll have to look for an “alternative” 🙂

That sux, right after Hornacek got canned. I have no insight to the situation other than gut feeling, but I don’t think coach liked TJ. No other explanation for not giving him more time.
Hope TJ heals well. I’m assuming it’s stress fracture(s). I’ve dealt with those, and after a long period of failed healing my doctor (and friend) finally said to me “it doesn’t matter how it happened, they’re BROKEN BONES!” Ha. So into the Aircast walking boot I went.
It is disappointing the refs are reverting to the old ways.
Again, I don’t think that was necessarily the case in the FSU game. IMO Gott had more reason to complain about Miami’s Rodriguez harassing Cat all night long. The kid ended up with 4 fouls, could have had 8.
Gott’s running it up the flag pole to see who salutes. Make no mistake, K will be working the refs all game long.
And, a rising tide lifts all boats. Granted the dock is a bit higher for the revenue sports, but raising the profile of Wolfpack athletics across the board is a good thing.
So complaining about the refs is only for the Blues? I don’t care if the officiating was bad or not, Gott is planting a seed. About time, I think. What’s he got to lose? Staying quiet hasn’t done much good, does anyone really think that it can get any worse than usual playing at Cameron?
The saying “the beatings will continue until morale improves” comes to mind.
