Each with all the trimmings, including forfeitures, and championships if ineligible players apply to those given years.
The unx apologists that are trying to hide behind the invisibility cloak of “it’s an academic issue” seem to forget that if a player took part in a fake course, then he/she was not in good academic standing. It should not matter if the athletic department knew about it, or steered players to those courses. If they were ineligible, they were ineligible. Am I right?

This is worth a share. 15,000 watching an online wrestling match is pretty impressive. I wish video of the Iowa match had been available via GoPack.

Coach Brands kept mentioning the “small” crowd, which was a little over 6,000 🙂 That crowd started leaving early.
All the pre-match articles and posts I read gave me the impression that Iowa thought they should be wrestling for the championship, and really didn’t give State much credit.
(it was closer than the final score indicated because of the default in GWiz’s match)
Gwiz was on a mission again, and he was up 10-1 at the time of the default. I think he would have scored at least a tech fall, and possibly pinned the guy.

NCAA wrestling: No. 4 NC State completes comeback over No. 2 Iowa
Penn St beat OK St soundly, so State could easily be ranked #2. Read plenty about Iowa wanting Penn St., and VT wanting Iowa… and the Pack just sent a STATEment to both.

I should have paid for the BTN stream! From the sound of it Coach Brands was getting testy in the early going, and Pop stood right up to him. Would have loved to have seen that.
Outstanding job by the Pack. They kept the losses close, Renda got a big win over #9 Sammy Brooks, and Gwiz closed it out. First ACC team to EVER beat Iowa. @packwrestle said that Iowa fans were leaving BEFORE the last match. Crazy stuff!
I thought Cat had gotten in to some bad Friskies. Gott may be playing his cards close with the cheaters up next. Most all of Cat’s shots were short, he just wasn’t with it. But it was a pleasure to see the team step up and have some fun. The Abu to KH play toward the end was fantastic. I don’t recall many ill-advised shots, they let the game come to them when needed and were aggressive in the right spots. Loved the board work (43 to 30), especially the numerous put-back slams. IMO GFK’s footwork was much better and it paid off. Stay thirsty GFK, there’s some Smurf killin to do.
Well that was fun. All kinds of contributions. Abu with 15/15. KH coming alive all over the place. GFK deslumped.
