Keatts too much resembles Gott: reliance on grad transfers, good recruiter, bad defensive numbers. No thanks, no way, keep that to yourself. I’d rather have Lutz. The fanbase is starving for legit coaching talent, X-and-Os, defensive grit, the whole tub of shmear. That type of coaching recruits for itself. Marshall, Miller, Wade.

So I heard from folks that follow the big ten that Crean’s buyout drops significantly this summer, and that’s the only reason he’s still there.

You’re right, Vasturia and Beachum jacked up a bunch of missed threes, which I didn’t get, you attack a tired team. At the end only Farrell and Colson wanted the ball. But it was Duke going inside, Tatum and that other guy that spurned us. But right overall they were clutch, NC State and Carolina don’t really have good shooters, Duke does. As does UVA.
So how did they pull this off? Was it the unexpected lightweight pressure that burned of 8 seconds of the shot clock? This win was about coaching. With Duke it’s like they make you think you’re in the game, before they take over.

Virginia got to experience what its like to play against a rested team. The difference between a 4 and 5 seed is an entire day of rest vs. a game? They should just add one more ACC team. How about Indiana? Florida International?
