Clark had a quadruple double last night! What a stat stuffer!

Clark posted 22 points, 21 rebounds, 15 blocked shots and 10 assists to claim a quadruple-double in the Greater Neuse River 4-A Conference win.

I don’t think anyone said anything negative about him. Just trying to figure out why he is not playing up to his level. Yes he has limitations in his game but he still has game and use his talents to his advvantage. If you asked him I think he would be honest in that he hasn’t played like he had hoped. It’s difficult to turn the ship around at times. Your time starts to dwindle and then you press to make plays because you think this may be the only minutes I get tonight. More playing time is usually the cure for someone with his ability. But if he flounders just a bit then he comes out.

I think you have to ask if that time doesn’t come then he will consider other places. You can’t blame him. I hope he stays and guts it out. I like the kid. I do think he his good enough to play at NCSU. As the season goes along and the closer it gets to the end and he doesn’t get out of his funk then you can expect him to look. He looked good the other night against ND. Lets hope he can build on it against UVA. UVA plays really good defense and he has experience against that team.

Fergus, I had a coach in HS who used to say the same thing. One of the best coaches I ever had. You have to have a mature team to approach them that way. I think the team has real good leaders. That makes all the difference in the world.

Wilmwolf80, I would like to think that was because of the scandal but from what I hear from people in the know is Dean’s health is fading fast. Demntia and other ailments.

I wish this would explode all over again and the NCAA and others would do a proper investigation but I am skeptical. This will all blow over soon.

He seems so tentative and unsure. One time in the first half against Pitt he got the ball on the wing. They were playing against a zone. He had beaten the guy infront of him. Had kinda of hooked on the play but there was no call. He could have continued to the basket and drwan a defender and dumped the ball off to Washington I think. He instead being unsure if he had beaten the guy he backed it out and swung the ball around the zone again. I think Cat and TL were in at the saem time.

Not being a smart ass. I honestly don’t know. If Kubiak is so good why did Schaub regress every year? I think Glennon had a great year for being a rookie and playing for a dysfunctional team. It is all relative. I think he will continue to improve.

Being a Pittsburgh fan they may be struggling for a few years. They are in salary cap hell. Then we will see if they keep Tomlin. I think with quick develop of quarterbacks in the last few years have made owners believe a quick turnaround is easy. I think that’s what happened in Cleveland. They say Detroit is the best job out there because of all the talent for the incoming coach but I’m not so sure. Stafford can’t seem to figure out that the strongest arm doesn’t always win. He makes the dumbest decisions. The rest of the team is stacked. Just shows that the league is driven by quarterbacks. Ryan in in NY gets another shot which I think will be his last if they miss the playoffs again.

Read The Terror by Dan Simmons not long ago. I thought it was very good.

I have only read the Clancy novels that were made into movies. Any suggestions on the others?

They played with a small lead with TN. Yeah they cam back but we were expected to lose to them. I think they showed composure in that game. Also did for 55 minutes against Mizzou. Like people have said its a young team. It’s going to be process. They will be some bumps.

Mizzou loss carried over to this game. No doubt about that. Fortunately they pulled it out. Not going to get too upset over this game. Win and move on.

I think Ralston is too inconsistant for him to be a logical choice.

Warren does need a reliable second scorer. I would think CB or JV would be the logical choices. One of them needs to claim it. Thrid and fourth choices can come and go. One night Washington next night Anya or Freeman. There has to be some consensus who thats going to be or least a plan in place if the opposing team is hell bent on shutting down Warren. Which is what most teams will do when trying game plan for the Pack.

I see what you did there with Stealers comment. Lol. My STEELERS almost got in. I think the San Diego beach mafia got to SUCKUP before the game. Oh well if they can’t win it, Go Panthers then the Seahwaks in that order.

Not that it needs to said but I did play on on almost every level.Only one sport at college level. Basketball, soccer and baseball. I rarely blame the refs. Players make plays end of story. They didn’t lose the game because of the refs. That being said you cannot ignore the timing of the calls and the inconsistant calls. Thats all I am saying. Everyone one would agree that refereeing has changed this year year with the emphasis on creating a more flowing game. What they have done has completely tied the hands of any defense. Again some are assuming that nobody on this site has played any organized sports.

    I agree with you Rick.

I give it to you cow dog. You know more about football than I will ever know. Just don’t pretend to know every sport more than anyone else here. You may be just as knowledgable on every other sport just don’t act like pompous know it all on all sports.

This game hurts more because we know what this has, effort and grit. It really chaps my hide when bullshit calls give a team that is down a little life. I never grip about calls and the refs but this one is leaves me confused. I am still proud of this team and there are some things they can learn from this loss.

Why are my comments being trashed? This is a complete joke. The better team did not win tonight. I don’t care what anyone says. The timing and the inconsistent calls were horrible. They(Pack) made plays when they needed to be made. Then the refs decided to make sure the ranked team won.

For those who want to put this on coaching then you know very little about basketball.
