The past can’t escape us…I’m on record as saying we’ll go 7-5 with a big win (ND or FSU) but also pulling a terrible loss (Wake or BC).

Great job…I’d love to see how bad you can destroy their BS if you had more time. 🙂

He’s right…and good for him to bring it up. Every coach (that doesn’t teach clutching and grabbing as defense) should bring it up until it gets better.

This season was lost with losing that game at VT. There is no reason we shouldn’t have rolled into the Clemson game undefeated…with probably Gameday in town…and no matter that outcome, the exposure of that game would have been a tremendous boost to this program.

Everyone seems to think VT to the Belk bowl is a done deal…

As far as the game yesterday…here is what I posted to PP:

For me, the game changed on the late hit in the 1st quarter..we had just scored to cut the lead to 7 and had stopped them. Was it a late hit, yes. However, I can’t understand why the two officials who are on top of the play don’t throw a flag…but the official 40+ yards away throws it late. Hell, even the announcer said “the flag came flying in from Chapel Hill.” I’d love to see a different angle with that officials view of the play. They scored on the next play and we were done for after that…

That Navy game was a whole lot of fun. We sat in a Navy section and talked with all the Navy grads around us…grads from the ’60’s & 70’s. Very memorable experience. I believe Philip was 10-15 with 5 TD passes that day.

I thought saw it once from @statefansnation on twitter but I could be wrong…isn’t UNC now still win less in ACC championships in all sports since the scandal broke?

This statement in the article amuses me…

“ACC: This league again was last among Power Five schools at 50,016”

Of course we’re last…the ACC biggest stadiums are average SEC stadiums. Wake only holds 31,500…Duke holds 33,900.

The Belk Bowl has a very active Twitter account (@belkbowl)…tell’em how good Red would look in Charlotte.

If we could ever put together a team or better yet a program like the ones that roamed the hallways at Reynolds, we could have that advantage.

A solid meh…didn’t seem to pump up the crowd to much on Monday…I did like that the band went into the traditional slow clap fight song and predictably everyone joined in without the announcer getting involved to ruin it…

I was there…for both opening nights. The Hurricanes hired the same crew that produced the Superbowl halftime show and Big Voodoo Daddy played…it was lame. It think we walked out some high profile Pack supporters and had a little speech where they tried to pass off the new electronic noise meter to replace the one in Reynolds. Low key approach.

Can we throw Clemson a couple of wins over in Chapel Hill too…or just let them suffer through that streak on their own?

If this works, we’ll only have Thanksgiving games every other year…I approve.

I think the offensive game plan could have been a little better. We started out throwing on first down instead of trying to establish the run. Since we were going with the pass, we could have tried a few swing passes to get Glennon comfortable.

Overall, I still put the blame on the offensive line. They should not have had that much trouble with Liberty. By chance is this a by-product of switching Horton away from O-line coach? Maybe a one game blip?
