Wonder if the work around is DSSr was given the money and not DSJr. The doc is not clear. Sr runs an AAU team.

Then my 90 year old dad shouldn’t vote. he hasn’t paid taxes of any kind in years. I believe he would argue that point.
^ As a technical executive recruiter, we find compensation is rarely in the top 5 motivations for candidates and is typically considered a red flag if it is (with the exception of sales professionals). If money was the primary driver, he could stay another year, have similar results and get the same money next year and perhaps with better suitors. You don’t make a marginal career move just to get another $100k that you will get next year anyway and perhaps even more. Next year he will have a clearer track record in the marketplace. If he has any confidence, he knows his value will be higher.
Drink also had representation that would have certainly advised him of the various options from a career perspective. I agree with the poster about reasons he may have come here. Another is Raleigh and RTP is a hot place to be in the country and has a college sports environment that dominates the area. Being on multiple top 10 lists for best place to…. for more than a decade has an impact on the national perception of a place. This area is blowing up and people are moving here from everywhere. These are good times for Raleigh. Let’s hope they are for our athletic programs too.It seems we are being portrayed a little more positively in the press of late and the holes less so.

In these losses of late all we have been missing is a little bit from Turner and Lacey and today we got that.Old friend of mine is a hole grad. His daughter is a Soph at State now. He told me when they were considering schools they went and visited both state and holeville. He was blown away by how much more responsive state was to questions and concerns and as much as he likes the holes, he wishes his alma mater could match up.
Even told me recently he is pulling for the pack mostly as he is disgusted by what he sees in holeville.I wish RW would have played as a true freshman here.. all other conversation would have never happened.
What if we had super Mario, Nate, and pick two others who were defensive standouts in the backfield. This team would REALLY be tough to play.
