Washington has reacted poorly to coming off of the bench. He’s forcing a lot.

These announcers can blow me. Our guy was standing straight up and he jumped into him and landed on his foot.

Replay showed a textbook charge. Lacey was set before USF left the ground. Not even close.

We have played pretty good inside out against the zone but we need to finish with threes for that to be effective. They are attacking our high post when we make the pass to the foul line. With the bigs we have that dictates a kick out. TJ, Calvin or Howell might have gone by them. Frenchie and Anya not so much.

Nice post. I agree that there has been improvement. I also think it’s instructive to look at how others have taken long time mediocre programs in power conferences and made them pretty darn good on a national level. Take a look at Baylor and Kansas State. Snyder played triple crappy schedules for years at KSU in order to make sure he made bowl games and stayed on the fringes of the Top 25. Bridles stole RGIII from UH and his long time recruiting ties in Texas, combined with Texas getting lazy out on the trail were enough to turn Baylor around. The fact that he is one of the best two or three offensive minds in CFB didn’t hurt either.

Bob Stoops has almost worn out his welcome in Mobilehoma. That would not surprise me at all.

Kenny Green from WF. 6-6 fwd with an 8 ft wing span. He could tie his shoes without bending over.

The zone really causes us problems. We are going to see a boat load of zones unless, KW or Frenchie can start to hit the 10-15 ft jumper we are going to live and die by the “3”. The positive is that it looks like Lacey and Cat can contribute on that front at times and we won’t just have to rely on BSW.

If we are going to play with 3 guards, Abu’s minutes are going to be severely limited. He’s not physically mature enough to keep from getting abused on the boards if he’s in there. I also think Anya has to play a lot of minutes in that scenario, because he has the most potential to develop as an offensive weapon. I sense that BJ is in Gott’s dog house to some extent because I can’t figure why Abu seems to be getting more minutes right now.

As for not calling timeouts last night when Hofstra was making their runs in the second half, it felt like Gott was letting them play through it. There’s something to be said for that in early season games.

The other positive was that Gott never went to the Wildcat. That would have melted down the game thread.

tOSU now has the Minnesota win equal to TCU’s and a win over Sparty that’s better than any win on the schedule of either TCU or Baylor. Their loss to VT is worse than either the TCU loss to Baylor or the Baylor loss to WVU. tOSU can only hope that they get some partial forgiveness for the VT loss due to the short prep time for Barrett.

On the negative side for the Dogs their two best wins, over a four loss LSU team and a three loss Auburn squad don’t have quite the luster they did earlier

First of all if you had two head coaches in your revenue sports that were of the moral fiber of the one’s at UL, the first place you’d go for legal help would be UNC-CH.

The whole “Ethics Professor Runs Academic Cheating Program” is just too good. You couldn’t make stuff up any better than that.

My only question is when will the press start to call out the cheaters for the 2-3 year cover-up they have conducted? Every time they say “it’s just X”, Y and Z show up in the dirty laundry basket.

At 6-6 this will be a season where we made progress. At 7-5 this will be a season where we started to move up the food chain a bit. The sweetness of a victory over those arrogant, cheating buttholes will make for a perfect end to Thanksgiving weekend.

No kidding. Ohio State and Baylor are salivating.
