If you ain’t ever “choked”, then you ain’t ever “swallowed” either…

Only way to avoid choking, is to never down at the table and eat…

    GO PACK!

Heck, I’ve choked at dinner, bars, played collegiate tennis and even had days Fishing BASS bass tournaments when I actually couldn’t hit the water!! Now that’s choking ??

Rest up Pack and prepare for the Big Dance!

Additionally, I expect Clemson to struggle with BC today should BC come out with the same intensity and hit the 3 ball. BC handle the boards and shots 50%, I think they will win. Probably way off but just a feeling.

As a whole, I think today’s reflections are much more positive following an obviously disappointing performance… I don’t think they choked but didn’t expect BC to dig as deep into the Balls To The Wall playbook!! I was expecting a much more spirited effort as a team because most of these grad transfers were experiencing the ACC tourney for the first time, unfortunately they were the Most spirited and some others just didn’t have a good day. I love the guys and won’t beat up a 20 yr old kid but as previously stated, it’s a difficult task to find that key that motivates certain individuals.

One good point, we get some time to rest and regardless of an NCAA seed, and an opportunity for redemption! Regardless how the NCAA plays out, I think that Yurt will be advised to learn for one more yr and perhaps develop into a Lottery selection. Currently, he’s headed back to Europe should he leave.
Again, just speculation based on how SOFT he plays. Should he come back another year with the group joining the Pack, expectations would be high!!!

    Go Pack.

He’s pretty dead on. He misses a bubble or two here and there, but we aren’t bubble. We are in.

Agree: just a little annoyed with several predictions: Pack wins 100% in. Pack loss 4% in.
IMO, it just doesn’t make sense? Maybe this wasn’t his prediction?

I’ve seen way too many Lunardi predictions to put faith in much of what he says!

Coaching has got to be such a difficult task…… but one thing that can never be lacking, how much to Love, regardless of the results.

Zingo… with your permission, I am ‘stealing’ this line and putting it in my book…

    It’s better than my version…

One other part of the game that bothers me:
“Confidence”, especially from MJ at the Line. Maybe its just me or just his style but he looks
so uncomfortable at the free throw line, almost like he’s trying to get the shot off quickly to get off the line.
I know that sounds ridiculous …… he just seems to hurry.

Coaching has got to be such a difficult task……. when to complain, when to criticize, when to yell, how much to teach
but one thing that can never be lacking, how much to Love, regardless of the results.

The Pack is making a move to be a prominent player again, I just want it now!! Today was a step back!

“Not sure who I blame most: any suggestions?”
    jerome robinson’s revenge.

LOL…..yes he did. Why take it out on us, because he is a UNC fan? LOL

Now that I’ve had a chance to CALM down, its the same STUPID parts of the game that have tormented us for the entire
year…….. Rebounding, Blocking out and frucking Free Throws!!

We shot close to 70% for the second half and still could only manage to tie. (Granted we were, what, 16 down?) Why, because we gave up over 50% to a decent team, only getting a few defensive stops.

I obviously don’t have the knowledge or the coaching techniques that most of the “core players” on this site have, and call me Old School, but I actually cringe when Yurt goes out farther than the free throw line…. my mother-in-law with a walker would beat him to the basket!! So I guess I just don’t understand why our coaches continue to allow the man defense for Yurt…. Keep him in tight to atleast APPEAR TO BE A DEFENSIVE THREAT :0

This group is fun to watch, you can see how far they have come! Now its in the hands of folks that neither Know NCSU or care about NCSU, thats scary.

One nice point that BOTB made: the officials were NOT a factor…..

Additionally, BC came to play, we didn’t!! :9

Still a huge lack of basic technique in rebounds and defense. What a let down following a Great couple of weeks. Again, a step BACK!!

Congrats BC, they actually run a good offense!
