Let’s see, we didn’t play D, didn’t shoot free throws, let everybody in the 27606 area code have an open look. Didn’t execute, didn’t move the ball against the zone, didn’t finish. Couldn’t control the boards. Poor shot selection. How many balls did we throw back in bounds under their basket? Abu is a three point shooter? Lacy took more shots than Kobe.

Color me unimpressed. At least we’re not playing someone difficult, like Davidson.

“It really won’t matter if we get trucked by the National Champs.”

Sorry, but I locked in on only word of this. Care to guess which one?

….maybe someone can have a WTF game against us???? Or as a Wolfpack faithful is that just not possible?

Two points above that I picked up on and shows that some of us are being realistic:

We may not be a 10-2 team, but we’re not playing like a 3-9 team either.

Hopefully we can make a crappy bowl so the recruiters won’t have an empty sales pitch.

Yep, just b/c we’re 3-0 doesn’t mean we’re any good yet. Let’s see an ACC road game first.

Excuse me but does anyone else not see us winning a couple of games and making the selection committee look good? We just finished among the final 4 of the ACC. Call us a 12 if you want but we’re playing better than that…at the moment.

Is there anything to the names “Weaver” and “Leibrandt”? I’d settle w/2-3.

Where can I find the game if I don’t have the deuce?

At least there’s enough intelligence out there to recognize that this is one of the most corrupt programs in the country. Say what you want, but isn’t that the bottom line?

If the statistics are correct and the vast majority of the students taking these courses were non-athletes, then don’t we as the lunatic fringe have a duty to find some of theses non-athletic swahili educated individuals and get some info? There must be thousands out there.

I don’t talk much on here but I read alot. I certainly understand all the complaints about the refs. I, for one, don’t like the refs having an impact on the end of the game. Let ’em play, I say. I prefer to look back at the Johnson turn over and think we didn’t take advantage of the opportunity we had. Moreso, even if we get that win, I don’t think we match up w/FSU at all. This isn’t the end of the story for NCSU bball, just another early chapter.

To somehow put a positive spin on all of this, I like what I read on WRAL about us developing an edge. I would think/hope that will be something that stays with us for the rest of this season and beyond. Perhaps if we had played with more of chip on our shoulder throughout the season, we would have had a couple more wins. I hope we can look back in the future and point to this game as another defining moment in the re-establishment of our basketball program. Regardless, we are a dangerous team in whatever tournament we play in and we are an up and coming program that should be able to vie in the conference and the country for many years to come.
