You’ve at least got a reasonable foundation of ACC-caliber players in GFK, Markell, Dorn, Kapita, and two wild cards in Frenchie and Tall Atsur. I’d like them to come back.
I don’t have any hard feelings, so long as everybody from the current side doesn’t leave and we have to start from scratch. Or we go on probation. I don’t rate either of those scenarios as super likely, so I wish him well in his future life/erotic adventures.

Re Collins, I’m pretty sure “K’s guys” all still ask his permission before they so much as take a bowel movement.

Miami has had a better MBB program over the past 10-15 years than NC State. That is sad.
Oh, many programs have. In addition to Miami, look at FSU. Notre Dame. Look at UVA, who are WELL positioned for the next decade or so.
It’s why I roll my eyes at the “Well it is so hard to win because of Duke and UNC” comments. Hasn’t seemed to bother these juggernauts.
YUP. It isn’t like football, where recruiting is primarily regional, and 4 teams make the national tournament. Being in a strong league/area actually HELPS you get more attention and media coverage, actually.
Look at the regression on this squad…Only a couple players have improved offensively over the year and all have regressed defensively.

A great coach can’t get wins out of slop. I agree with that. But a bad coach CAN turn a good collection of talent into a losing unit.
Because a team needs cohesion, discipline, structure. Respect.
