St. Bonaventure beats St. Louis and will face St. Joseph’s in the A10 semis – two potential bid stealers – definitely so in the case of the BonniesWow . . . just w o w. That was one terrible game. The refs caused this to be an embarrassment for the ACC. Was the final tally somewhere around 60 fouls called? Thank goodness the Holes lost. A painful game to watch but I’ll take the outcome. Go to hell, Carolina!

Granted Pitt could have done some things better to handle the press, but at the beginning of that stretch starting at about 7 minutes Bilas was talking about how brutal the officiating was, missed fouls when *nx was pressing, etc. Then the refs missed a couple of Pitt walks, etc. It was a sh*tshow. To top it off no one was making FTs. Ugly, ugly game. But the right team won.
Paige did knock down some tough 3s to bring the Holes back, he’s a gamer.

I was thinking similar thoughts. King Karl and his zebra showgirls were desperately trying to extend the game to give the holes more time for their full court press to crush the panthers. But alas, Karl had no more rules left to bend for the holes. In spite of panthers sucking hard while trying to break the holes’ press and Karl blowing hard (…on his whistle), the holes could not come through, in the end. LOL.
