Back, and to the Left Game Thread

I ran out of dumpster fire memes, so I went with historical appreciation instead. I suggest talking more about your own take on the assassination and/or your favorite conspiracy theory(ies), rather than the game. Not even sure I will watch, frankly. It’s mind-numbingly stupid that we play this game at all, and I am extremely disappointed in DY for recently extending this series. In the future we will have to explore more deeply what drove that decision because I know from first hand experience that she has not supported the extension of the series.

Today’s sea of purple-clad methheads in C-F is in no way good for our program. But, of course, today’s situation comes to your courtesy of ‘Coach Lee Fowler’ who would’ve done anything in the world he could to put himself in the personal good graces of local politicians and ECU’s well-respected Athletics Director (at the time), Terry Holland. I have to ask how all of that chumming up to others worked out for Fowler, who remains unemployed three years after FINALLY being dismissed from NC State.

ECU can beat NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill in the same season for the first time in school history.

The most exciting sports event of the day, of course, is the Merseyside Derby. Everton scored to level the game at 1-1 in the 8th minute, and have controlled play since. This is what will determine the level of my foul mood for the remainder of the weekend, at least until Broncos/Pats Sunday night.

With Sade’s fade, we may be down to ZERO draftable players now. That’s almost hard to do if you try to suck.

  2. eas 11/23/2013 at 2:48 PM #

BJD95, you are right but dang it sucks to deal with this again. It just sucks.

Somewhere Scott Harley just super sized a meal and gave a fist pump.

It’s VERY hard to maintain any kind of energy when things are this bad. I think Holtz had a season like this at South Cakalaky, and they went 0-11. Thank f-ck we didn’t do THAT.

No doubt, it does suck to suck, especially this bad.

MrPly – want to entertain us with NDP vs. Liberal analysis in the coming Quebecois elections?

If this blog were a person it would be bi-polar with episodes of paranoid schizophrenia.

We could add angel dust to the “Dumpster Fire Festivus” fun next weekend. What could possibly go wrong?

OU defensive TD to clinch, now I need another flipping option for when Duke/Wake at commercial.

  8. BJD95 11/23/2013 at 2:54 PM #

Just because you’re paranoid, don’t mean they’re not after you…

This is our zip code folks…

What, you mean you’re tired of Rob “I’ve got more than enough to eat at home” Ford? 🙂

Mercifully, one week and one hour from now, this season will be o’fer – I mean over

  12. BJD95 11/23/2013 at 3:12 PM #

Ply – you gotta love a country where a dude can go that freaking nuts and not have it really impact his approval rating (not that it was good to begin with).

I want to see a series of American politicians make cunnilingual comments about their spouses, post haste. Perhaps get Obama, W, and Slick Willie do a PSA together encouraging men everywhere to go downtown.

Looking at 2014 schedule , what will be different next year. It is probable to lose the opener against GA Southern. Looking at conference games State could lose them all or only win 1 or2.

  14. BamaPack 11/23/2013 at 3:17 PM #

Illinois and Kansas both broke very long conference losing streaks.

I have a suspicion we will be battling to do the same in 2015.

  15. JaxPackMan 11/23/2013 at 3:18 PM #

State has played a slew of underclassman this year. Hopefully, they have gained valuable experience and will stick around for next year. What are the odds that State will have a banner recruiting year this year? How many will red shirt?

  16. MrPlywood 11/23/2013 at 3:19 PM #

@BJD – We could discuss the policies of Christy Clark, BC’s premier… or maybe a few her other outstanding issues.

    Global turmoil continues….

    Dook Football team is 9-2…
Holes football team scores more than Holes basketball team…
    Packs sucks…

    and “Nobody” cares…

  18. BJD95 11/23/2013 at 3:20 PM #

Do elaborate for us. I love BC!

Worst STATE of affairs I can ever recall. Yow has her hands full. This can’t keep up. Nobody, and I mean nobody, will be watching. I didn’t even watch today. Just happened to check the score at half and it was already over.

Boy howdy, are the Cowbells ever cocking up what looked like a sure win in Pig Sooey land.

  22. BamaPack 11/23/2013 at 3:28 PM #

TOB was supposedly fired because of sagging tix sales and now C-F looks like it’s Dowdy-Ficklen.

    All part if the plan?

  23. BamaPack 11/23/2013 at 3:29 PM #

Mississippi State’s QB just got rocked.

  24. BJD95 11/23/2013 at 3:30 PM #

LMAO, Ply. That’s awesome. Premier Boobs. Not to be confused with the aforementioned Mayor Boob.

C-F looks that way because we continue to schedule a game that only the purple methheads are interested in, to absolutely no benefit to our program.

  25. Fastback68 11/23/2013 at 3:30 PM #

Weak schedule my ass. 7/8 of our acc foes probably go bowling along with these purple dbags.
