I think Rowan has more rebounds so far at State than Scott did his senior year ……. LOL, but certainly not the shooter SW was just yet. It could be interesting to see how much this team could develop over the year..
I don’t remember all the time frames in the second half but there was a period where both teams took some really poor shots but I was pleased to see during the final minutes and thru the overtime period, there was a level of maturity that shows some promise for the future. YES…..ESPN loves BS and he is awesome but they LOST TWO GAMES back to back…Give some credit where it belongs, the Pack showed some life!!!
Simmons should have gone to Kentucky with all the other one & dones…LOL
Well, I don’t see the mad exit to the NBA that seemed the hype during preseason…… At-least not due to talent displayed on the court thus far… LOL
Did you miss 2012? I’m no Cal or UK fan, but they’re an annual top 5 team when the sophomores on the rosters are their veterans. I’d venture to say they’d win the championship every other year, or at least every 3rd year, if UK could was able to keep every recruit at least 2 yea[/quote

I certainly understand the kids decision and can’t blame him or others like him with that level of talent. I guess I despise the system because its not a system we can implement…I’ll second that regarding the coach comparisons BOtheBeach……… Sloan was awesome, just most kids today couldn’t tell you who he is or the history at NC State.
Valvano was a good coach with exceptional skills of motivation. He could get an average player to believe he was M Jordan!
UK and Cal will always have great talent with the system they are selling but they will not have Championship Banners when
it comes April. If they can’t win with the talent when Wall was at UK or last year, they won’t win. Its hard to have
that much talent on the floor when the “individual” is trying to sell himself and still play as a team. I’m certainly not a Duke fan, but lets see where the two teams progress / regress come April.That said, who the hell is BAM ?
Hope he does well sitting on the bench at UK…..unless they have another 6 man exodus, time will come sparingly.
I hate to see the in state kids go out of state for a sales pitch of the “next level”…….all can make the next level if they are talented!! Anyway, our experience with “one and done” kids sucks as well.
