As stated in an earlier post, NC State may choose to under-promote our alums currently making major contributions in the National Football League, but we will do our best not to ignore their contributions. Koren Robinson was re-signed this year by Seattle after a string of injuries to its receiving corps that was, well, NC […]

…And Then You Win By A Little…
Bobby Bowden first remarked that programs that are improving first lose by a little, then they win by a little. We remarked after the near-win against Boston College that the Wolfpack was close — that they lost by a little against the Eagles, 38-31, in a game where the NC State defense could not make […]
J-Co’s amazing one handed – or one headed? – catch
NC State may choose to under-promote our alums currently making major contributions in the National Football League, but we will do our best not to ignore their contributions. Jerricho Cotchery has proven that he is good for at least three or four bigtime highlights each year, and last night’s catch on national television against the […]
Hauschka Scores First NFL Points
The good news keeps coming. Steven Hauschka has been kicking off for the Ravens the past few weeks. Apparently, he’s also their long FG man, having nailed a 54-yarder in the first half of the Ravens/Texans game. Our hearty congrats to the first-class Hauschka family!
Wolfpack Alum Taking National Stage

WRAL: O’Brien expects Wilson to keep playing two sports “I would expect that [playing both sports], yes. I think that’s what he wants to do. He certainly can help our […]
AD Quote of the Day: ‘Performance-based profession’
Back in September we made a really big deal about Coach Tom O’Brien’s comments regarding his program’s position as a ‘Performance-based organization’. The entry and the good conversation that resulted can be viewed by clicking here. “McKeen played very well. He’s got a lot of pass rushing ability. I think he performed better than Markus […]
Former recruit with various connections to NC State will transfer from UF
NC State is scheduled to face off on the hardwood with the University of Florida both this season and next season. One name that the Wolfpack will not be seeing in the series is that of Jai Lucas. It was announced today that Lucas is transferring from Florida. Florida guard Jai Lucas, the son of […]
