Rest of Weekend Open Football Thread

It’s all a prelude to PeyPey putting an end to the Chefs fluky undefeated season. But there are several good games in the 3:30 window – Okie State at Texas (Fox), Georgia at Auburn (CBS), Sparty at Nebraska (ABC/ESPN2), Miami at Duke (ESPNU).

Stanford at USC (8:00, ABC) could also be watchable.

Make that 18 after the Pick Six.

Holy crap. I just saw the KU – West Virginia score…

    “Your bike”

Oh COME ON people. That was f-cking funny as hell.

Just wondering… wonder what it would be like today if we had somehow hired Cutcliffe instead of Duke.

I’m not mad at you BJD. Just know there programs out there that can help you.

Houston is 17 point underdogs at Louisville. Cougars I think can win that out right.

  7. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 5:39 PM #

    LMFAO!!!

And look at Duke, the little engine that could. Good for them they got all their turnovers out of their system against us…

  8. tjfoose1 11/16/2013 at 5:40 PM #

‘Neers really lov’n that move to the Big 12.

  9. redcanine 11/16/2013 at 5:40 PM #

Duke has a f’ing track wrapped around their field.

    #wallacewaderollerrink.

Agree re Houston. The Ville isn’t that good.

  11. Fastback68 11/16/2013 at 5:42 PM #

FSU – pin ball wizards. Duke by one.

  12. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 5:43 PM #

There are high schools where football isn’t that big that still have better facilities than Duke. It’s embarrassing that the league lets them get away with it, frankly.

Just because ACC football is bush league, doesn’t mean we have to look that way.

Amazes me that they keep giving prime TV slots to Noles vs plankton. What kind of ratings can these games possibly pull down? They are over basically after 8-10 minutes of game action.

  14. tjfoose1 11/16/2013 at 5:46 PM #

Swofford? He’ll never touch Duke. He needs the cover they provide.

  15. TheAliasTroll 11/16/2013 at 5:47 PM #

don’t we have a basketball game tonight?

  16. Fastback68 11/16/2013 at 5:48 PM #

If you had to choose one win only, ECU or Maryland?

  17. tjfoose1 11/16/2013 at 5:49 PM #

ACC wants as much promotion and as many eyes as possible on Winston and the ‘Noles.

  18. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 5:50 PM #

MD. The ACC 0-fer will be very embarrassing. EZU yeehaws being happy is just irritating.

Agreed, foose. Just a hypothetical scenario for a non-Swoffy cabal run league.

  19. tjfoose1 11/16/2013 at 5:51 PM #

Besides, no other team but Clempson currently has any appeal outside their own fan base.

Isn’t Famous Jameis a sex offender these days?

  21. TheAliasTroll 11/16/2013 at 5:53 PM #

    we’ll beat Maryland

  22. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 6:00 PM #

At this point, not sure we would even beat La Tech (if we played again).

  23. Fastback68 11/16/2013 at 6:00 PM #

As much as I want State to clear the deck of syphilitic pirates ala Michael Caine style in the movie The Island, beating Maryland would be better.

  24. Fastback68 11/16/2013 at 6:02 PM #

    Duke!!!!!

  25. Wufpacker 11/16/2013 at 6:06 PM #

Richmond would take us by a TD at least at this point.
