It’s all a prelude to PeyPey putting an end to the Chefs fluky undefeated season. But there are several good games in the 3:30 window – Okie State at Texas (Fox), Georgia at Auburn (CBS), Sparty at Nebraska (ABC/ESPN2), Miami at Duke (ESPNU).

Stanford at USC (8:00, ABC) could also be watchable.

    Yup, the line skyrocketed. IIRC it was 32 at kickoff. That was the only drama in that contest.

    Georgia ran six plays (two three-and-outs) in the first quarter against Auburn.

    I now place Auburn in the list of schools that are better than Ohio State.

    I’m not sure there’s a team that’s improved more from their September form than Auburn. They seem to get better by leaps and bounds each week.

    I admit I thought UGA was going to put it all together this week. Epic Iron Bowl on tap.

    ^ I don’t think that will happen. VT, Louisville and Clemson will be serious threats to them.

    Meanwhile, Maryland fans are celebrating their win at VPI like it is a big deal. VPI sucks this year by their standards. The good news is that it all but rules out Frank Beamer slipping in the back door of the ACC title game again. The ACC really needs to reshuffle the conference and restore some competitive balance.

    The Manning’s Thanksgiving is going to be awkward this year. “Eli, can you pass the stuffing- oh wait, you better let Peyton do it.”

    I have a gut feeling that Chiefs are going to make it interesting against the Broncos, especially with Manning being gimp this week.
