There’s one good game (TAMU at LSU, CBS) and one snow game (Stormin’ Mormons at Gold-headed Catholics, NBC) on right now. Enjoy!

Don’t forget two key games later tonight – Mizzou at Ole Miss (7:45, ESPN) and Baylor at Okie State (8:00, ABC).

Beloved Pey Pey and crew invade the Massholes in the Sunday night game tomorrow.

Before that, the Panthers plan to Ice Up the Fins.

    Happy Birthday to me. Best present I got was not watching our team play today, mainly because it would have just ticked me off having to endure Pie Rat Fan’s mouth.

    Unusual event of the day……could not stomach much more…..drove my “baby” and knew that the ECU bunch were a destructive lot, so I left mid way into Q4.

    Heard one fan say that someone intercepted DD’s headset and that he said….”If my contract did not require it, I WOULD leave now”….

    WAY more purple that red, at the half and CF was about 50% full when I left and at least 3/4’s PURPLE…

    On the way out, used the PNC North entrance/exit. This is where the HD busses and such drop off.

    TWO (2) WolfLine buses there…..the LED signs said….

    POLICE CHARTER…..NO JOKE….POLICE CHARTER.

    Could not pass by without talking to the driver. He was a Bus Driver, not a RPD or Campus Cop. He said that YES, these were for UNRULY fans and that there were more around the corner. The fans would be arrested, restrained if needed, and segregated by school and then there would be a RPD escort to the Magistrate….EXPEDIOUSLY….

    NOW, I have been coming to CF since it opened….I watched Gabe play in Riddick my Freshman year….so I go back a ways.

    I have NEVER, EVER seen a “bus” parked to arrest fans….

    THIS tells you something about the crowd….there were big butted, Purple Clad “ladies” just loitering in the PNC Arena parking lot aisles….and they would just stand there and block any traffic trying to get to their spaces….Most were wearing outfits that would have really looked GOOD on females about 50 pounds lighter and 4 dress sizes smaller….one young co-ed had a pair of black jeans cut so short that even my DW noticed the cheeks of her posterior hanging down….but she WAS wearing Purple and carrying a 12 Pack….I guess that is the bait that is needed to get the lads near her…..ARGGGGGHHHH fits her face……appropriate for a pirate…..what one would say if he woke up the next morning and found her unclothed and bodacious body next to his…..

    I should have know better and drove my “TANK” SUV and then, maybe I woulda got some respect….

    Craigs List was literally PLASTERED (as were most of the ECU fans) with ads…..I HOPE they paid big bucks…..I sold my two seats once and my “group” told me that they would “HURT” me if I ever did again…

    I think that our “loss” record now predates my exalted entry upon this planet in 1945….

    However painful, I am NOT writing Randy Woodson and demanding that Kay and Dave have their buttons ripped off and that he smash their swagger sticks….

    I will hope for a miracle, but keep some extra Jr. Johnson “Secret Recipe” in case the BB season turns as ugly as the FB.

    All-in-all, the officiating seemed pretty fair and professional today. I guess the Ref does not have Johnny (Buffalo Wings Control Center) Swofford’s earpieces…..

    GO PACK…..at least the field was devoid of that kiss of death “OUR STATE” logo….probably just needed to be re-turfed and they lost the pattern for the “STATE” and went back to tradition…..

    LSU looks focused, and quite good. Oregon does NOT. Maybe UCLA will end up winning the Pac 12 after all…or…

    I seriously doubt the veracity of that.

    As for the rest of your story, I feel for you, Roo. Props to you for going today and keeping the faith.

    Pie Rat fans really are as bad as UMD fans, and if I were the RPD and SHP, I would have checkpoints on the way out of town towards Greenville just to put those a$$holes off the roads.

    Go Panthers! Beat Miami and Tampa next week and we are most likely playoff bound. Beat the Saints once or twice and in the running for the 2 seed. You heard it here. Unreal turnaround.

    Johnny Manziel is so fortunate to not play against a team that is coached to tackle him from the ball down.

    He’ll make runs like that in the NFL just long enough to run into Brandon Meriweather, Mike Mitchell or Ndamukong Suh.

    Not a single mention of “Our State” at Carnage-Finley today. So, at least our marketing folks aren’t COMPLETE idiots !

    Way too purple in our stadium today. Thanks, you assholes that sold your seats to Pierats.

    You can get double or triple face from Pierats, or have trouble giving them away otherwise. Most folks can’t take that kind of financial hit, and frankly – shouldn’t have to. It’s on the administration for scheduling a game that has great value to the opposition, and none to the home fans.

    I like the crowd makup because hopefully it starts to open the eyes of the powers-that-be.

    It takes courage to admit the mistake and immediately correct it. They could have waited until after the season when it would attract less attention. Doesn’t totally excuse the initial mistake, but it’s still a positive act.

    My DW pointed out that when the OTHER 4 schools have “Done what they wanna do….” (which is an OLD lyric from a song that was popular MANY years ago….just can’t remember the name)…..

    What she meant is that State has allowed each school to partake of it’s goodies and State has provided pleasure and entertainment for each of them without any reciprocation.

    SO, there is NO JOY in Woofieville tonight as we have, willingly, allowed the other schools to have THEIR fun and leave us unfulfilled and alone…

    Do I need to be MORE direct????

    Pirate fans were paying face value almost exclusively. I sit right behind the visiting bench on the 50 and asked a few. None paid more than face. We actually thought it was a big joke. I actually enjoyed the day. The ECU fans laughed at our team but not in a mean spirited way. More a “WTF, you really suck”.

    Really? I had 5 tickets several years ago, when we came in bad, them pretty good. My seats were on aisle around 30, but fairly high up. I got $700 plus $200 worth of really good tickets for a December basketball game.

    But maybe the flood of available tickets was so high this year that the purple methheads decided to be smarter shoppers. LOL

    SCORE UPDATE…..BCU v MD. BC Scores……then the PAT is “Tipped” MD catches it in the end zone and runs it back and scores….tied….

    Score was BC 26 & MD 24 after the TD. BC botches the PAT kick. MD catches ball in end zone and then returns it 100 Yds and “score”. THEY get 2 points for the score and the game is tied Heads up MD player realizes it is LIVE and RUNS….

    BC is not my favorite…..but I dislike MD MORE!

    Randy Edsall “freezes” the kicker, before he misses a 52-yarder at the gun. On the re-kick, he knuckles it through and BC is 7-4.

    Perhaps this will have MD coming in even more dispirited than we are.

    I did the same thing….I did NOT want to go to the ECU game…..I sold mine for 4X face and my group threatened me….

    This time, CL had a LOT of tickets for face. Lots of “fishers” that wanted 2, maybe 2.5 face…..don’t know if they sold them.

    UPDATE….BC beats MD.

    BC FG Kicker MISSES….but, PRIOR to snap, MD coach called TO. FG was just a “PRACTICE”.

    Ran play again. He NAILS IT…..could NOT have happened to nicer bunch of A$$HOLES……

    FSU up 80-7 on Idaho.. no surprise there though.. I was looking at the moneyline on Idaho for this game and if you bet $1 on Idaho and they won you would win $2,500.
