Pack Loses Thursday Off, ACC Loses Last Shred of Credibility

In the most incompetently officiated game I have ever seen, on any level…NC State falls to the 5th seed and 11-7.

Anyone who doesn’t want to leave this bullshit joke of a conference needs their head examined.

    Dogbreath: EXACTLY!

I stated the same thing in the game thread when the Noles players started chirping. Every team should do that to Howell and Leslie, the tech and stupid, frustration fouls will commence shortly, and they will be non-factors.

I’ve noticed Warren shrugging off the older guys during telecasts, and that worries me as well. Will he have a better attitude when they leave or will he just start shrugging off and ignoring other people? At least he doesn’t appear to be as fragile as CJ.

Wait! Your headline isn’t true until UMD-UVA finish tonight. If UMD wins then we are in sole possession of 4th place.

“PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE quit blaming the refs, the ACC, and any other conspiracies you might have going. It destroys your credibility. Seriously, can you imagine elite programs like Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, UNC, etc. saying things like that? Grow up.”

Posters who keep saying this NEVER address the 19-7 foul discrepancy of the starters. Facts bother them.

“Brown, Leslie and Howell will all be drafted.”

By who? Uncle Sam, or the Ohio Valley Basketball League (OVBL), the Professional Basketball League (PBL), the International Basketball League (IBL), or the NBA-D League?

Of course, there is also semi-pro ball in the American Basketball Association (ABA), and if this trio wants to travel, there are over 250 other countries that have basketball leagues.

They’re all going somewhere, but don’t look for them on TNT, ESPN or ABC telecasts of the NBA anytime soon.

Just wait and see, 61. Just heard this week they are all projected to be drafted. NBA of course. For some reason a lot of Pack fans don’t like to admit this. No idea why. Guess they feel we should be better with 3 NBA players on the roster. And we should.

Nothing that Brown and Leslie do after they leave State will ease the pain and disappointment of this season for me personally.

To me, the play that describes this entire regular season occurred in the first half.

Lorenzo’s man gets picked and is guarding the FSU big. He shows the enthusiasm for this that average individual would display during a root canal. At one point, rather than front, he reaches both arms around the big, when the shot goes up, he does box him out, but it’s not a good one. The big man gets the rebound and Lorenzo fouls him on the follow up. The big man makes both foul shots.

If Brown plays defense like he should, he doesn’t get a foul, FSU doesn’t get 2 points and we have the ball.

To beat ANYONE, all this team has to do is rebound and avoid careless turnovers. The fact that we have 7 conference losses screams how badly we’ve done in those areas this year…and is the reason that we will likely playing Thursday and have a 9 seed (or worse) instead of a 2-4 seed.

Rick, thanks for your comment and I’ll ask you to please explain to me the 19-7 foul discrepancy. What do YOU seriously think is going on? Do the refs that are assigned to work our games get a top secret message from the league office to screw us? Or maybe the refs are in collusion together to get us back for hating Karl Hess. Or maybe it’s aliens from outer space. It certainly can’t have anything to do with our team.

I’d really like your honest, well thought opinion about the fouls.

And in other news we lost to Clemson in baseball today too. We now have a conference record of 0-2 in baseball. What a year….all hype and no substance.

OMG…this is bigger news to me..gotta go look at details, but watched the Tiggers last weekend live and was not very impressed..

“Prima Donnas” don’t play defense…They think(and their Mama’s told them) that they were better than that!

Want to go back and review what “uncoachable” means? You guys have been watching it!

Highstick… coach gott has had a lot of them at Alabama.

Personally, I think he is a players coach who tolerates sub par efforts from his stars.

The good news is that he is a great recruiter and solid coach.

If you believe any of State’s losses are due to “the conference” or officiating you don’t have an ounce of awareness in your body. All season long they played down to their opponents, went huge stretches with poor defensive efforts and committed too many turnovers.

This website gives State fans a bad name with it’s tin foil hat tone. “They’re out to get us!” “It’s everybody else’s fault but State’s.” Give me a break.

Put the responsiblity where it belongs – on the coaching staff and the players.
