Wow, MA, taking the game with 10 minutes left and already chalking it up as a loss?

  2. Rick 11/21/2010 at 10:15 PM #

    Pride
We will just have to agree to disagree

  3. Packfan28 11/21/2010 at 10:16 PM #

    Because MA is right.

  4. BassPacker 11/21/2010 at 10:17 PM #

We’ve quit playing team ball, its a gimme the ball attitude now. Can’t be any super star, gotta be team play. We are young and talented, mark this one up as a learning experience. Missing Tracy Smith hurts but its also gonna make us better when he returns.

  5. MA Wolfpack 11/21/2010 at 10:17 PM #

I’m not giving up, but GT is doing whatever they want right now. Going to be tough to come back on them.

  6. Packfan28 11/21/2010 at 10:17 PM #

NCStatePride, you honestly think we can come back?

  7. Packfan28 11/21/2010 at 10:18 PM #

    Which game are you watching?

  8. wolfy85 11/21/2010 at 10:19 PM #

I don’t think we’re done, but I also don’t expect us to come back and win. This is a learning experience, against a good team, playing away from home, now playing from way behind. I’m interested to see how the last 8 minutes go. We’ve had no flow this half at all and can’t hit anything, plus GT has completely killed the tempo. Let’s go Pack, get it goin’!

  9. NCStatePride 11/21/2010 at 10:19 PM #

I don’t disagree Georgetown is taking us to the woodshed, but Hell, if you’re going to go ahead and say, “Oh well, we can learn from this loss” when there is still a quarter of a game left… we ridicule Carolina for less.

  10. Packfan28 11/21/2010 at 10:21 PM #

That scoring drought iw where we missed Tracy.

Baxter – I thought I as the only one who noticed that Scott Wood’s green light to shoot should be turned to yellow. His bricks are leading to transition buckets. at 36% behind the arc he needs to be discerning between his “good” looks

  12. NCStatePride 11/21/2010 at 10:22 PM #

I really don’t think the youth is killing NC State at the moment: I think it’s just plain ole bad shooting. Maybe you could argue that is because of inexperience, but Javi, Wood, and Howell are shooting ice cold, too. I haven’t seen the stats, but we can’t be shooting too much better than 30% all around.

  13. wolfy85 11/21/2010 at 10:24 PM #

These officials are calling some ridiculously petty fouls right now, we’re playing good D and getting called for some cheap ones out there

  14. NCStatePride 11/21/2010 at 10:24 PM #

Since I typed my last message, NC State has had two senseless turn-overs. Ok, now you can say it’s youth.

  15. Packfan28 11/21/2010 at 10:25 PM #

Why no press? We’re kind of running out of time.

  16. BJD95 11/21/2010 at 10:26 PM #

Lots of teachable moments here. Defense just collapsed in the second half, combined with a 5 minute run of HORRID shot selection. But not the kind of game that should alarm.

I really like what I see from Lorenzo Brown. I really DO NOT like what I see from CJ Leslie.

  17. BassPacker 11/21/2010 at 10:27 PM #

My goodness, Howell has a novel tatooed on his arm. I hate the tatoo trend in college basketball.

  18. Packfan28 11/21/2010 at 10:29 PM #

Howell is 5 for 9. He’s shooting ok. Javi isn’t too bad either. Wood is 2 for 9. 2 for 8 from 3.

  19. BJD95 11/21/2010 at 10:30 PM #

It’s not “poor shooting” – the shots we missed during the stretch where the Hoyas turned away were just terrible shots.

I have been impressed with how we rebounded tonight. Much better fundamentals in that area.

  20. NCStatePride 11/21/2010 at 10:31 PM #

There is one silver lining: If CJ Leslie doesn’t start playing smarter, he won’t make the draft this spring. Ha.

  21. Gene 11/21/2010 at 10:32 PM #

Wright-Austin = Harrow-Brown could be if they stick around for four years.

We really missed Tracy in the second-half, when the offense got sloppy and we needed a half-court bucket.

On the bright side, this is the fastest NCSU team I’ve ever seen.

  22. BJD95 11/21/2010 at 10:33 PM #

I just hope his attitude and “effort” don’t wear off on anyone else. Ugh.

  23. Packfan28 11/21/2010 at 10:38 PM #

This game doesn’t upset me. These guys are young, we’re missing our best player. CJL may be the most hyped player, but he has the most growing to do.

  24. Rick 11/21/2010 at 10:38 PM #

    BJD
    I agree on the shots.
    They were awful

I think we learn from this

  25. Packfan28 11/21/2010 at 10:39 PM #

We could use 5 Lorenzo Browns.
