Re: all of the Chuck will be here next year comments…

My guess is you’re right as of right now–but–I also have a sneaking feeling that there will be A LOT of purple and gold in the stands next week–and that cannot be something Fowler will ignore!

Unfortunately, it’s a Catch-22 for fans: go and support our players on Senior Day (which I will be doing), which Fowler will undoubtedly view as the “majority” of the fans “supporting” CTC; or stay home and turn your back on a group of players that has played their heart out all year, but sending Fowler a message?

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. . . I think the game went quite well. We are DEFINATELY making progress.

I just joined this site and wanted to write. I visited Raleigh last August and wanted to see the new stadium additions as it had been several years since I had been to Raleigh. The football team was just returning from practice and we watched them leave the fieldhouse after changing into their street clothes. The vast majority appeared to be street hoodlums with the traditional pants hanging off the ass, chains, etc. They got into their cars with the ubiquitous rap thundering from the cars.

I told my friend that State was in for a long haul because I could just feel that there is no discipline. After watching this disastrous season and the stupid personal fouls, mistakes, etc., it is obvious that Amato doesn’t have a grasp on this team. I’m away from the day to day goings on here in Dallas as they seem to like their own brand of football down here, but not too far away to know that a change needs to be made. Chuck has had more than enough opportunity to show what he can do. If we can get Norm Chow, do it. The man is an offensive genius. I do believe that I remember when he left State for USC that his family was from the West and wanted to get back to that side of the country. Hell, put a mop with stupid sunglasses on the sideline and it would be better than what we have!

    Go to hell, blue Scumbellies!

There’s going to be at leas 10,000 Pirate fans in our stadium next week…probably more! Fowler will see that for sure. And as our offense musters 12 pts. (4 FG) that purple/yellow will be loud and don’t think for one minute Skip won’t keep trying to score on us.

Our Def. plays their hearts out, Off. does to at times…but our discipline stinks. I feel for the players, ’cause there’s going to be some ticked off State fans in the stands…not ticked at the players, but at the Coaches.

Anyone tracking Murphy’s plane? Is it heading to Annapolis, MD? Remeber how that caught Fowler off guard..ha!

  7. Micky McCarthy 11/18/2006 at 5:51 PM #

There aren’t any hot coeds in Richmond County for this original whisker hickstache toting redneck Wal-Mart loser to hook up with, so why even suggest this?

  8. packer74 11/18/2006 at 5:51 PM #

Chuck and Company. Time to say GOOD BYE. Enough of your inept, bull crap, bad game day decisions.

    Oblinger’s email: [email protected]
    Fowler’s email: [email protected]
Email them today and let them know where you stand. Actually, better make it Monday or Tuesday as most of us are too upset to think rationally. Seriously, if we can write these guys a well thought out, educated, non-inflammatory email it certainly couldn’t hurt. At least they will know where the rank and file fans stand. Sometimes these guys (especially Obligner) are so far removed from reality they have no idea that Amato’s support has virtually vanished.

I actually think it would be more effective for each of us to contact your local Wolfpack Club rep and let your opinions be known, but make it clear that there will be no check written this spring if a change isn’t made. These reps are the men and women who have the true power, because they want nothing more than to make their annual giving goal. If enough people cause them worry, then you’re message WILL BE DELIVERED to the powers that be.

This will have to be a true grassroots effort, with a groundswell of momentum for change moving up through the ranks.

Face it, the common joe fan is nothing more than a gnat to Fowlup and Oblinger. A letter from you to them will promptly be filed in the nearest trash can.

“DE has been throwing into just as many double and triple coverages in the last four weeks as Stone ever did!”

“And did anyone catch the play where Marcus was wide open in the end zone (by the left sideline) and Daniel just throwing the ball out of the back of the end zone?”

This has nothing to do with one play, or one, two, three players. There is talent on this team,
Why is Stone on the field, should be the question? I have had so much Beer on Saturdays watching that I cannot remember when was the last OFFENSIVE TD we had? I agree CTC makes moronic decisions, but really as bad as the OC playcalling is, we need something to throw the opponent off guard. From what I saw today, Chuck and the team has given up. I pray he goes ahead and resigns.

  12. WestCoast 11/18/2006 at 6:18 PM #

I emailed both of them already.

Tarheel 20 year old kid…. do you realize you are the only Carolina fan out of say couple 100,000 fans in the state of NC on this site. You truly are a loser. I do understand that we lost today and that we suck, but what are your intentions? The rest of your students are having a good time on Franklin st and you are in your dorm room on an NC State website. Take a look in the mirror dude. You’re a loser. Since you obviously don’t have a girlfriend go to a pornsite

It really wasn’t so bad. Only 11 penalties, 3 turnovers, and 9 points. Come on fellas, get a good night rest and lets discuss tomorrow when we can all be rational.

  18. 98st8 11/18/2006 at 6:25 PM #

when WAS the last time the offense scored a touchdown?…seriously…

  19. jimmy 11/18/2006 at 6:25 PM #

I said back in September ,The best play calling ever was by Norm Chow. Mark my words Everybodys game should get better as the year goes on,we got progressivly worse and so did our coaching. All the ACC schools are spending the money to get better players, coaches, facilities etc. If we dont make a move now we will be forever on the catch up.The next thing that happens to us is we will start to lose existing players to transfer and possible recruits will turn to other teams.IF CHUCK HAS ANY CLASS AND TRULY LOVES NCSTATE HE SHOULD CALL A PRESS CONFERENCE AND RESIGNS MONDAY . PS MICKEY MCCARTHY IM BEHIND YOU 100 DOLLARS AND SENSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Reasons to hire Paul Johnson:

    1)His success at Navy,

    2004: 10-2
    2005: 8-4
2006: 8-3 (with Army next week)

    2) He has something to prove. He has been told he can’t win at a big program with his offense. He wants to prove them wrong

3)If he can recruit solid players to Navy, he can recruit even better players at NCSU.

    Lee, please hire this guy.

we have scored two offensive touchdowns in 16 quarters going back to the Virginia game. In 240 minutes of game time, we have managed to score two offensive touchdowns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW

  23. bb1983 11/18/2006 at 6:39 PM #

i dunno if yall caught it but he actually had a repectful comment on the end of the thred here before he got booted. He basically said trash talking aside, it is shameful for us that our players were witting on the bench at kickoff when UNCs players were jumping up and down, but it is shameful for UNC that “WOLF….PACK” was heard louder during the game than “TAR….HEELS”. he finished up by saying he wishes UNC fans were as passionate as our fans.

I have this REAL big feeling Fowler is finally going to step up to the plate and make the call. Rick Barnes won’t turn him down twice!

BJD95, do you really suggest 2 guys to be our head coach who have 0 years of head coaching experience between them? Me? not so much. Give me a coach with proven success running a program. Give me Paul Johnson or the like any day.
