my humble opinion is that for the program to improve, you’re going to have to fire mark. to that end, hope that abu makes a foolish decision and decides to hire an agent. that would leave you with essentially one post player in anya given freeman’s health issues. mark may have proven himself head and shoulders above lowe, but that’s not saying much and it definitely isn’t enough to stay coaching in this league. another failed experiment for state.

Again, that was a question. Nothing to make me feel good or bad.

Also, consult a definition for reference to the word, “semantics.”

Do you honestly consider what I have said as, “sniping”? Maybe wufpup’s response didn’t compell me. One poster’s argument merits deletion?

Sure, Mark has taken us to 3 straight Tourneys. But his recruiting is fading, and his coaching needs help.

3 of my posts have been deleted. That’s the definition of censorship.

Block me or whatever. That’s not the point.

I have an opinion that isn’t widely accepted amongst you and yours.

The thing that baffles me: instead of even attempting to prove me wrong, you’d rather delete me. Makes no sense when it comes to open discussion. Shut me up. I’d love to be proven wrong.

I cannot imagine I an only one tired of his trolling

    No, you’re not.

And spintk…it’s not a discussion when you say the same tthing ad nauseum.

It’s not a message board when your people censor every post. It’s not like I programmed a code to spam Mark Gottfried digs. The FIRST time I heard a counter point on this site about my comment was a threat to delete my posts. Not one to challenge my point. That’s weak.

    I’m not trolling.
    Have not cursed.
    Have not flamed

I have a POV on our team and coach. Hell, it’s the Internet. That’s to be expected. Win or lose, I comment.

The game was lost with 3:00 left to play when Mark decided that every shot should be a jacked up fade away 19 footer. Mark just isn’t a good coach. Period. Lose to UNC AT HOME, barely beat FSU, and then come out to a 10pt throttling in the second half against Miami.

    You are tiresome

    I prefer “persistent.”

Instead of critiquing me, care to opine on my position that poor decision making around the 5 min mark hurt us?

Nope. Just going to start deleting your posts.<br>
You keep quiet until a loss and then come bashing.

I post every game. Look at my history.

People are still complaining about the refs???? Oh my God. Give it a freaking rest. ONE play does not decide a game. Should have won. Got out-coached.

Well. Looks like our guys guys didn’t play through. Atrocious defense and zero poin guard play. Mark loses. Again. Maybe he should have been more focused on beating Miami than being on ESPN.

Looks like our team is playing without a STARTING POINT GUARD for the idk FIFTH game in a row. Add to it that Mark can’t coach, I’m surprised we’re still in it.

They BOTH have a great combination of speed and size that allows them to chase down fast breaks and get defensive stops. If the rest of the team could figure out how to trail, we’d be golden.

The Twins get out of position a fair amount in any defense we are running. Nature of being a freshmen. They’ll learn from it. The zone worked, I thought; at least on the initial shot, but then we couldn’t rebound. As always, room for improvement on defense.

Crucial win for our psyche. Coming off a home loss and down an extra ball handler, wow.

I’m mixed on the way the refs called the game. In the one hand, free throws allow stoppage and Lacey gets to rest. On the other, a tighter whistle allows for a more entertaining (but tiring) game.

As for Miami, they are a Jekyll & Hydr team. No clue what to expect.

Hamilton flubbed up the end of that game. Should have fouled Anya. Lacey made them pay for it on the other end. How can we play so gritty against a good UNC team, yet play like crap against a bad FSU team?

Or it could be that Mark just is not a good coach. I’m certainly not pinning this on the players after it has happened time and time again. It all starts at the top.

Second game in a row that Turner has done that. Coaching.

Lol. This defense. This is just laughable. Can we cut Mark’s check in half for only “coaching” half the game?

If we lose (or win) I’ll put $100 on it that Mark blames Barber not playing as the reason for our struggles.
