Gotta say, I feel relieved that we were able to mount a comeback and take the lead. Wake came out smokin’ hot, but the guys didn’t get down on themselves.

Still not happy about the free throw shooting. I don’t know exactly, but I guess we’re probably around 60% in the first half. Watching for foul trouble in the second half.

Wake doesn’t have an elite PG or a go-to swingman, the two positions that kill us. By the same token, they are equally vanilla on the defensive end.

I guess they read my post. Defense has shown back up for two straight possessions. Good to see.

The UCLA high post offense against the zone needs a skilled post player at the foul line. Painter with the jumper or Calvin putting it on the deck both drew the baseline defenders away from the basket and created cutting lanes. Freeman and Washington have to become that guy.
