Brain Bleaching – Non-Dumpster Fire Football Open Thread

Thank God that catastrophe was the early game of the day, and very few people outside of NC saw it. Enjoy the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party as your bleach-y appetizer course.

It is clear we have no QB. We will be lucky to win another game this season.

  2. TheAliasTroll 11/02/2013 at 4:21 PM #

At least we know Debbie won’t put up with this sh!t long. DD better learn to coach to game situations and learn it quick.

Speaking of dumpster fire…looking at you, Florida.

  4. TheAliasTroll 11/02/2013 at 4:29 PM #

FSU is three TD favorites over Miami… I know the Canes are overrated but I’m tempted to take Miami and the points.

I’m done giving money to NC State football. After 35 years of donating, attending games and hoping for “one day” I am officially giving up. Hell when your own stadium audio-visual crew tries to negate your home field advantage, there’s just no point.

I left with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter and had no problem in so doing. It’s obvious NC State is never going to put together a solid football program and it is even more obvious that no one at the university has the first clue in how to do it.

Wow! Do we not have anyone that can play QB? Is Stoker really worse than these guys? Geez!

  7. Wulfpack 11/02/2013 at 4:33 PM #

Boy do we ever stink. And we stink bad. We don’t win again this year.

Navy just went up on Notre Dame

  9. BJD95 11/02/2013 at 4:36 PM #

To complete my crap sports weekend – John Fox apparently just had a heart attack. Jeebus.

  10. TheAliasTroll 11/02/2013 at 4:39 PM #

Hearing Johnny is okay though so that’s good. Something tells me the Broncos will be fine without him for a week or two (or however long he needs for that matter).

…. and Fighting Irish back on top, making the midshipmen look ridiculous in front of their friends and family

  12. BJD95 11/02/2013 at 4:43 PM #

On bye this week…but the Chefs in 8 days. Get well, Coach Fox.

  13. TheAliasTroll 11/02/2013 at 4:44 PM #

I’ll tell you what though the Irish better be glad the Marines have better things to do than have a football team and aren’t on their schedule.

If you saw suckitude and Pdoeren on the field or in the stands earlier this afternoon…

Tell the truth…..aren’t you really glad that you’re not a friendly BullDog or a Gator a&&hat in Jacksonville… where neither team is in the top twenty and nobody else cares????

    Troll… don’t do it….
    Alpha… same for you…

    NOLES in a blowout tonight.

    POP!

  15. TheAliasTroll 11/02/2013 at 5:00 PM #

Bill, you might be right, I mean Vegas begging for that Miami $$$.. probably smartest bet is no bet at all on that one.

  16. phillypacker 11/02/2013 at 5:01 PM #

Alias Troll, you don’t have a clue about coaching ability.

  17. bill.onthebeach 11/02/2013 at 5:03 PM #

^The way the Holes and Deacs handled the ‘Canes…
I think you’re totally safe going with the NOLES….

Besides….There’s bad blood in the water down in f-l-a…. and there won’t be any letdown at Doak tonight.

  18. TheAliasTroll 11/02/2013 at 5:07 PM #

oh okay Philly, I guess as long as you’re seeing the improvement in our team (where as I see decline) and that you’re seeing the juggernaut genius coaching decisions (where as I see game unawareness) I’ll learn my place and enjoy our ascent to the top.

    Take a step back gang.

    Breathe.

  20. Wufpacker 11/02/2013 at 5:16 PM #

    WTF was Murray thinking there?

  21. cameronoverrated 11/02/2013 at 5:31 PM #

Alpha Wolf I’d love to buy you a beer/whiskey what ever right about know.

  22. NOT A FAN OF BLUE 11/02/2013 at 5:34 PM #

Without a true D-I QB, Coach D (and staff) look as bad as the team. We need to give him (them) time.

Losing #WPN – after only one season – is the last thing he needs.

  23. TheAliasTroll 11/02/2013 at 5:45 PM #

I was with him up until he chided the fans in his first ever game. Now it’s on him to earn it back, and he can start by not coaching like an idiot.

  24. TheAliasTroll 11/02/2013 at 5:46 PM #

when is our first real basketball game? today’s is exhibition right?

  25. bill.onthebeach 11/02/2013 at 5:51 PM #

I remember …. a young Jim Valvano and his story about having a big lead over in the Dean Dome one night and sitting on the bench thinking about his post game TV interview with five minutes left in the game….

Ya’ll know that story too … and how that turned out for us in both the short term and long term.

Coaches have to ‘grow’ too…. just like players…. they come in as freshman and grow into men.

It’s clear… Dr. Deb is taking the ‘grow your own’ route.
