NC State vs. LA Tech Game Thread

Yay, kickoff is minutes away! Need a reason to be positive? TOB has left town. And Skip Holtz is coaching the other team.

I will see you in the comments for late August fun and hilarity. Nobody knows what to expect from either team, so enjoy the ride.

It is either wet paint or someone is bleeding out.

Noticeable drop off from Mitchell in tempo that drive – hopefully just 1st drive jitters… 17-0

Mitchell is out of the game hurt

I don’t buy this was ever a close QB battle. Pure gamesmanship.

The tempo since Pete T came in is much different. It’s like they are a step out of sync. I hope you are wrong about Harrison Beck BJD95.

Mitchell will have the Scooter Sherrill high ankle sprain, aka the NC State injury. The one that lingers for four years

“Mitchell is out of the game hurt”

Hence, the drop off in tempo… ; )

  9. Rick 08/31/2013 at 1:34 PM #

Another fumble. These will make our defense look better than they are

  10. DC_wolf 08/31/2013 at 1:35 PM #

    Lucky cough up, there!

    Edit: STRIP by Jarvis Byrd!!

  11. Rick 08/31/2013 at 1:36 PM #

Geez, broken foot will cast a shadow on this win

  12. patientwuf 08/31/2013 at 1:37 PM #

We looked a little uninspired on defense. I’ll take a fumble.

…that was the biggest hole I have seen our O-line open up in years !!!

    WOW…

  14. Fastback68 08/31/2013 at 1:39 PM #

    Beautiful pass!!!

  15. tjfoose1 08/31/2013 at 1:39 PM #

Dayes is for real. He’ll be starting soon, assuming he picks up pass protection.

you just don’t get any more open than that in the middle of field… esp. that close to the goal line…

must be good play calling… on our part….

  17. patientwuf 08/31/2013 at 1:44 PM #

    Not a good decision Pete.

  18. Fastback68 08/31/2013 at 1:44 PM #

Will the ball bounce our way all season??? We are due.

  19. redcanine 08/31/2013 at 1:44 PM #

Somebody knocked the s out of Rashard on that int/fumble play.

  20. BJD95 08/31/2013 at 1:45 PM #

    QB #3…come on down!

  21. BJD95 08/31/2013 at 1:47 PM #

    Skinny. Harrison. Beck.

Agree re Dayes. Thank goodness he is a tad undersized, he never woulda gotten away from the FL schools otherwise.

  22. Fastback68 08/31/2013 at 1:47 PM #

Just fumble.it already and recover it for a td.

  23. Rick 08/31/2013 at 1:48 PM #

    TD. Go Pack

  24. patientwuf 08/31/2013 at 1:48 PM #

    Dayes has leverage.

Great inside running when LT knew it was coming. SHB will never throw another pass inside the 5.
