Let’s recap, kicker poops his pants on the kickoff, missed an easy field goal, our star DB gets burned for 2 tds, and out great qb gets sacked and fumbled and throws a horrible pick (6). The the fuck do I look forward to these games

Why doesn’t everyone just say we suck. To hell w/getting my expectations up. See you in 2013.

Way to get your rb killed

  4. lawful 08/31/2012 at 8:07 PM #

Actually this is good. I don’t have to wait until November to be disappointed and let down. Frees up the next 3 months.

    yeesh.

No surprise hear. Typical Wolfpack season. Start like crap, Archer puts the worst D on the field, we play conservative…..then magically Archer figures out how to coach and Bible gets confidence with the long play. Same old plan every year.

  7. eas 08/31/2012 at 8:16 PM #

It usually takes 6 games for us to figure out how to play football.

  8. JohnGalt78 08/31/2012 at 8:36 PM #

O line looking bad…..but, maybe our 3 deep d line care outlast em late.

  9. JohnGalt78 08/31/2012 at 8:37 PM #

    Just gotta stay close

  10. WolftownVA81 08/31/2012 at 9:08 PM #

Hopefully the D woke up at half time. The TN QB has had way too much time. And our secondary has been ineffective.

  11. timberwolf 08/31/2012 at 9:37 PM #

How, I mean HOW, was TN #116 (out of 120? bcs) in rushing last year ? Their oine are elephants.

So tired of the poor starts to our seasons. Time for a change. Sorry TOB but you have done good but not great.

  13. JohnGalt78 08/31/2012 at 10:21 PM #

    Oh well

  14. BureauOfMines 08/31/2012 at 10:28 PM #

It was a butt kicking using our butts.

  15. Wolfman 9806 08/31/2012 at 10:34 PM #

I honestly don’t think we could have looked worse. Wow, just Wow!

  16. Wulfpack 08/31/2012 at 10:35 PM #

That was a pathetic showing all the way around. Turble. Just turble.

  17. Prowling Woofie 08/31/2012 at 10:42 PM #

We don’t have an O-Line, we have an Oh-No-Line !

RB’s did a good job, Glennon absolutely panicked, but then he was hearing footsteps ALL NIGHT LONG.

Amerson… well, he’ll be here next season, no doubt 😉

  18. Wulfpack 08/31/2012 at 10:48 PM #

Yea, Herbstreit caught some SFN flack for leaving Amerson off his all Herbie team. Well, looks like Herbie was right. He may have been our worst player tonight. He put us in a big hole.

  19. WolftownVA81 08/31/2012 at 10:50 PM #

Offense and special teams same ole sh!t as last year. Defense substantially worse. Waste of my hard earned cash tonight except for a good tailgate with TN friends. No more koolaid for me.

  20. Wufpacker 08/31/2012 at 11:00 PM #

Herbie looks like an idiot for naming him 1st on most underrated list at this point.

  21. gotohe11carolina 08/31/2012 at 11:08 PM #

Too early to call for archer’s head

  22. gotohe11carolina 08/31/2012 at 11:09 PM #

Oops meant, too early to call for archer’s head?

  23. WolftownVA81 08/31/2012 at 11:33 PM #

They weren’t that good. I feel like we gave this one away.

  24. Wufpacker 09/01/2012 at 2:52 AM #

Probably. But never too early to lobby for Tenuta to become the de facto DC.

  25. Wufpacker 09/01/2012 at 3:00 AM #

I guess I’m in the minority on this one. It looked to me like a pretty darned good team (them) imposed their will on a decent but not great team (us), forcing us into mistakes.

We’re not as bad a team as we looked tonight and aside from being over confident and coming out maybe a bit overly pumped up emotionally (first 5 mins or so), we still weren’t able to establish any rhythm or consistency once we settled down because they stayed in our collective grill all night, both literally and figuratively.

They were bigger than us, stronger than us, faster than us, and better prepared than us. We didn’t give this game away, it was taken from us by a bigger, stronger, faster and smarter team.
