Pump up time! To bowl, or not to bowl?

HUGE game for the Wolfpack today! (Link) All the marbles on the line — either Tom O’Brien will go to his third bowl in five years at NC State…or he won’t. We will either have two straight winning seasons…or we won’t.

Joe Giglio sets the table for you here…but nobody did a better job of setting the historical backdrop of today’s game than our very own ‘ruffles’ in this fantastic entry. You can click herefor CFN’s take on the game; and Caulton Tudor projected a similar score (link).

The regular-season finale finds the Wolfpack (6-5, 3-4 ACC) with a lot more to gain than anyone could have guessed three or four weeks ago. It’s hard to remember that Maryland (2-9, 1-6) started the season with that impressive win over Miami. That game must seem like a million years ago to Randy Edsall. Wolfpack, 31-14.

Following up, RW and marginally better. That would have just been the experience, but our overall record with him at the helm wasn’t any great shakes, so Glennon isn’t that much of a set back.

Doesn’t matter who the opposition is, the problem is in Raleigh

Hey I have an idea. How about we kick it out of bounds to give them great field position!

And then let them convert on 3rd and 11 and 3rd and 6!!

  4. WolftownVA81 11/26/2011 at 2:31 PM #

No way we can let them score again in this half. To have any chance at all we need to hold them scoreless from here on out.

  5. Khan 11/26/2011 at 2:32 PM #

    We can’t tackle anybody.

  6. GAWolf 11/26/2011 at 2:32 PM #

Who was the idiot that didn’t just fall on the fumble? That could be huge ultimately. I’m still holding onto hope….but its waning with shit like that.

    Yeah! F@#k censoring! Lol!

  8. PoppaJohn 11/26/2011 at 2:33 PM #

Did they say that Maryland was terrible at converting 3rd downs? I think we can help them with that.

  9. PoppaJohn 11/26/2011 at 2:33 PM #

    35-14

  10. PoppaJohn 11/26/2011 at 2:34 PM #

    That’s it for me

Is there a mercy rule in CFB?

  12. WolftownVA81 11/26/2011 at 2:34 PM #

Wide open MD receiver and they score again. We are laying down for them.

Go back out to the tailgate. If you hear a roar, you will know that Yow kicked TOB out of the stadium at half

  14. Khan 11/26/2011 at 2:34 PM #

Everybody on the coaching staff needs to be fired directly after this game. They are completely inept on every level.

The BED SH$%TING is complete. And it’s only the first half.

  16. ldr of the pk 75 11/26/2011 at 2:35 PM #

AHA, a chance, they missed the kick. Nah, no chance. Time for a turkey sandwich and about 6 beers.

  17. Wolfpack93 11/26/2011 at 2:35 PM #

At halftime we should pull 11 random fans from the stands to play defense. Can’t be any worse.

  18. WolftownVA81 11/26/2011 at 2:36 PM #

On the positive side, this should make DYs decision much easier and the fanbase will be much more united behind her. Time to pull the trigger Deb.

when are we allowed to start b!tching, moaning, and being a chicken little?

  20. ldr of the pk 75 11/26/2011 at 2:37 PM #

Sure wish I could perform my job like the TOB staff, and get paid a fraction. Doesn’t work that way in the real world. I just have to find a way to get a job in lala land before retire. Jed, where are you?

  21. Avid109 11/26/2011 at 2:37 PM #

TOB is certainly consistent when it comes to playing Maryland in a high-stakes game.

  22. GAWolf 11/26/2011 at 2:37 PM #

If the clown falls on the fumble they don’t sore there and we perhaps have a scoring opportunity of our own. That’s stupid Amato-esque glory shit. That’s not wat disciplined players do, That hurts badly. We could have gone in possible down a TD, but now it’s 3.

  23. ldr of the pk 75 11/26/2011 at 2:38 PM #

get off the field you bunch of losers.

  24. Khan 11/26/2011 at 2:39 PM #

I wish we’d throw a few more short passes. We throw it deep waaaay too much. If we’d run it up the middle and throw a few more 3 yard out routes, we’d probably be doing much better. We’re just too unpredictable.

  25. MrPlywood 11/26/2011 at 2:40 PM #

Does TOB retire at halftime? He may have retired after the 1st quarter…
