Game Ball, Kevin Reddick (and Owen Spencer)

Thank the Lord Mr. Reddick decided to wake up the sleepwalking Pack. Because once awoken, NC State played its best football all year. And we will play for the Atlantic Division title next week in College Park.

And what awareness by Owen Spencer to catch a tipped knuckler in the end zone. Without that, not sure the righteous anger would have been enough to get us over the hump. Remember when we used to call him “butterfingers?”

Quinton Coples, in my view, should have been ejected 4 plays before the fight. He hit Wilson at least 4-5 strides out of bounds. Coples took two steps on the chalk before launching. And you will NEVER convince me that he wasn’t coached to do that. Dirty sons of bitches!

And thank you for showing much better situational awareness this week, Coach O’Brien. Screw the book.

Notice Jarvis Williams with the broom!

Just wanted to share my experience at the game. Was in the student section. A few students there were actually decent football fans, most were not. What I found to be most interesting was the “PSA” they flashed on the jumbotron multiple times, asking boosters, alumni, etc. to be careful in how they treated athletes. They asked them to do things the right way, the “Carolina Way.” I can’t decide if it’s funny, depressing, or both!

Reddick is from New Bern…but, not far from Kinston and the influence of Chris Hawkins.
